The Amazing Spider-Man Daily Bugle. It's Hip!

Only time a kid worked in the flick was when they see Pete flip off the bike in the 2nd flick. that worked out. not any other time though.

There's a fine line between cheesy humor and goofball humor. The comics I would say is goofball humor - Spidey lays his witty lines on thick, but they're not cringe worthy (primarily because he doesn't shut up long enough for you to do so if the line falls flat). For the most part, i'd say the movies humor is cheesy. "Here's your change!" Really?

my favorite line is still "nice outfit...did your husband make that for you?"

Cheese is awesome, I honestly will never understand why people are so afraid of it. Perhaps they're lactose intolerant.

when u drink milk and u crap out diahrrea or it doesn't come out solid does that mean your lactos intolerant?

Yeah the kids that were inserted so they get screen time or a line in the movie. I hate it when directors do that. Raimi does it wayyyyy too much.
I also can't stand how whenever Spidey swings to the scene someone has to shout "LOOK! IT'S SPIDER-MAN!" or "GO GET HIM SPIDEY" Why do they need to announce it all the time?

that's the only real stuff i have a problem with.

its for the kids....the movie has to cater to everyone...then again i always wondered how much more money these comics would make rated R imagine Wolverine or even Spidey Rated R

His son and neice got cut from the first one. They had a scene when he saves that couple while out of costume he gives a shhh sign. You can still see it in some of the trailers. The "kids suit up" trailer on the first dvd. Because he didn't have complete control back then it got cut. In the third his brother and nephew are the dad and son that cheer when Spidey show up at the end.\

Sort of unrelated but I know that the two kids that give Peter his mask back in two are actually Tobey's half brothers.

Not Spidey. But Wolverine would be good.

I love that moment in SM2 when the woman shouts 'Go Spidey go!' He has just saved her from being crushed by a car and she is cheering him on.
I also love the moment she says, 'It's a web..'

The kid saying 'It's spider-man!' when he swings into GG in SM1 is good too because it gives us a moment to take in the quick swing, I mean look at that swing in shot, it's very fast. It's also realistic that someone would spot his approach and shout about it.

It's the unfunny obtrusive ones that annoy me, like the kid with the camera in SM3, and I think that one Dacman was just talking about was a good cut, the kids spotting him using his webbing, it would have slowed that scene down some, when it had to be non-stop action.
The 'wicked cool' and 'awesome' ones are alright I think, I mean you have to show some kids in awe of Spidey in the movie at some point, I don't know what's wrong with them being in there, although the 'wicked cool' sounds fake and forced. In real life one would kid would say 'awesome' and the other would say 'holy s***!', when there are two kids, at least one of them will be a swearer.:hehe:

I liked it when GG came to the bugle looking for information on who took Spidey's pictures and when JJJ accused them of working together, Spidey webbed his mouth shut and was like "Hey, let Mom and Dad talk!" It was something like that.

I LOVE the Bugle humor.

However, I do agree that Spider-Man needs to be more of a smart-assed wisecracker.

SM3s style was awful.
People say the drama is the worst thing,I 100% disagree. It makes 3 bearable for me to watch. 3 was the corniest for these reasons

Peter doing a Saturday Night Fever strut.
Prancing around the club like a Donny and Marie dancer reject.
The silly camera cut choices. Example (The nuts and bolts flying of the pipe then cutting back and forth to Sandman)
Camp english photographer.
Captain Stacy doesnt seem to care that his daughter is going to fall to her death.
Peter with the Black Suit in general.
Forcing the anorexic girl to feed him nuts.
Tobey acting a badass is painfull to watch.
The scene MJ thinks people are cheering for her.
The Spider-Man Day Parade scenes.
The kids.
The 60s cartoon theme.
"SHAZAM!"
The acting from EVERYBODY was terribly sloppy. They just didnt seem to put care or effort into their performances.
The old newsreader (A bomb couldve went of next him and he would still be talking the same).
Harry and MJ...THE TWIST!!!
Topher Grace.

Anymore more?

I don't see the problem with the humor{JJJ is HILARIOUS}. Besides why does every superhero movie need to be dark and serious like TDK?

i like the humor it makes spidey the family friendly film that it should be

BCUZ THE DARK KNIGHT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVAR!!!:hehe:

seriously though, I love TDK,but I wish everyone would stop talking about how dark or serious Superhero films need to be now in order to be good. umm...no...they don't

The ironic thing is that TDK had plenty of humor in it.

not alot though. but batman's a serious type of guy, in all honesty. we've seen the campy side of batman, two times in history. both tries didn't fare well for the caped crusader.

I didn't see any.

- Most of the Bruce Wayne scenes like walking into the party with a bunch of girls on his arm, being asleep at the board meeting with Lau, ribbing Harvey Dent over the ballet, absconding with the entire russian ballet etc
- Lucius Fox's sensational handling of Reese over the blackmail
- The Joker provided loads of laughs, most notable one being the whole nurse sequence
- Batman delivering Lau to Police HQ with a sign on him saying he's to be delivered to Gordon, ribbing the fake Batman over his hockey pad outfit, tossing the cocky Maroni off the roof etc.

Plenty of humor. It was just more subtle and not as over the top as the Spidey movies. Although the guy in the SWAT truck with Gordon was supposed to be funny, but he was just plain annoying!!!

The Joker clapping when they made Gordon commissioner.

I doesn't need to be dark and serious like TDK. I don't think anyone here even suggested that at all. It just needs to not be over the top silly or filled with useless one liners from children.
Plus Spidey needs to be more lighthearted and witty and use more wisecracks.
