JBH!: Do you think they'll eventually bring back Specter or Blofeld?
Campbell: I don't think they'll go as fantastical in that direction, if you know what I mean. You won't get the huge room with 27 people sitting at the table and the man stroking a cat, and then #27 disappears into the shark tank. (laughs) or get electrocuted. Oh, no. Which is all wonderful stuff, actually. I don't think you'll see that, but you may see a more realistic interpretation of that.

Correct me if I'm wrong! I was under the impression that Blofeld was owned by Kevin McGlory and not MGM/Sony/ION etc etc etc. So, how EXACTLY would that work out?

Also, it seems SMERSH is being introduced. Seems like a good idea to me.

Blofeld is the best but SMERSH really challenges Bond as well.

I guess the guy who created James Bond only had one good name in him...

...and I still don't know what you meant. :(

Edward Douglas doesn't know what he's talking about:
so when she was cast in the high-profile role of Vesper Lynd, the very first Bond Girl and the one who had the greatest lasting effect on James Bond

The greatest lasting effect? REALLY? More lasting than Tracy...HIS WIFE who was tragicially murdered as they were heading to their honeymoon.

Yes. Vesper makes Bond who he is. Tracy just leads him to his downfall (in the novels atleast, in the films she was a nonfactor).

Yeah because how the movies were made. If they go back down that path again I have a feeling it will be more Fleming-esque

Vesper was the first woman that Bond really fell in love with, only to be betrayed. She made Bond into the woman using man he is.

I understand that. But, in my opinion, Tracy was more important. Vesper may have turned Bond into that womanizer he's famous for but Tracy brought him back to the way he was when he met Vesper. Then, she was tragicially murdered on their way to the honeymoon.

I don't know. I guess it comes down to opinion. Fleming is no longer with us so its not like he can answer this to us.

And, I'm not really that upset. I just want them to acknowledge Tracy. This is the 2nd time someone calls Vesper the most important Bond girl without atleast making a reference to Tracy.

SMERSH was actually the name of the anti-spy program of the USSR

If SMERSH is going to pop its head up again, that should be cool. I read Royale, Live and Let Die, and From Russia with Love, SMERSH definitely gave Bond a hard time
