I've said it before and I'll say it again, Dan is definatley a great choice for the title, he was born to write Spidey! Seriously, see his work on Avenger's The Initiative.

Agreed, I'm really looking foward to seeing Mcneven teaming with Dan Slott and Jr.Jr. as well. I have a feeling it's going to be perfect and very enjoyable.

Both, Mcneven and Jr. Jr.'s artwork, are fantastic (in my opinion) and teaming them both with Slott is even better, seeing as his writing is great! Two great team's right there.

Agreed, and personally I'm really excited for Brand New Day, and planning to buy all the stories each month.

This is something that used to be considered a DREAM TEAM just a few years ago.Slott-JRjr/McNiven/?, is truly a dream come true. Now what will we have to moan about on these boards?Or are we looking at the Dawning of a New Age in the Amazing Spider-Man? Will the Slott Years be looked upon as the Revival of the Amazing Spider-Man? It would appear that Marvel is focusing ALL of their energy into Amazing Spider-Man. I'm not sure about any other character, but I know,this multi artists -ONE writer approach hasn't been done with Spidey since Marvel Team Up v.1.Slott is a Fan favorite and a MArvel choice for Amazing Spider-Man.Champagne may be pre mature, but Happy Days May just be here Again.

I think good times are coming on ASM too, hopefully a return to the glory days of the title. I really hope the book can find its feet, or rather the new creative teams can w/ it's new hectic schedule. It's essentially the same deal as before- 3 monthly issues, only now they are all labeled ASM.

Hopefully it will make things more streamlined and flowing, because as much as I liked the days when the various Spider-titles were tightly written and all cross referenced each other,- Marvel seemed unable (or just not bothered) to pull that off in recent times.

Slott /JRJR /McNiven = wow, that's how the flagship comic of the company should be done. A host to the cream of the industry. I forget who the other writers and artists are.. anyone? but as far as these guys go they are at the top of their game. Here's hoping we don't just see McNiven or Romita JR on one arc and instead stick around on the ASM roster for at least a year.
