I think I'm going to watch it Tarantino style from end to beginning and then the correct way haha

I hope the production quality is high on these shows. I want really nice costumes and sets. I don't want tv show costumes like the Flash and AoS costumes (I'm looking at you Dethlok)

Do you guys think we will get workout scenes similar to Arrow? And since Oliver has his salmon ladder what do you think will be Matt's trademark move? :woot:

salmon ladder?

side note- I wonder how exposed the eye-slits will be?

Well, I think the shows will end up seeming to have lots of similarities, so it might be worth avoiding this similarity. That being said, Matt does have a cool gym, so anything's possible.

I'm extremely curious about how the budget/quality of these Netflix shows will compare to the MCU.

I'm loving Arrow and what I've seen of The Flash, but there is a clear budget difference between those shows and Man of Steel. This is not necessarily a negative thing

200 million divided by 60 equals 3.3 million an episode. Not to shabby.

I think it'll be somewhere in between. Cable/Streaming shows generally have a slightly higher production value than broadcast, while not being quite as high as premium cable (which is the closest TV's come to blockbuster level). The CW is also the lowest-budget broadcast network, so this should be noticeably more expensive than Arrow, have slightly higher production values than Agents of SHIELD (due largely to the more flexible shooting schedule and smaller episode order), but still not quite as expensive-looking as it would be if it were on HBO.

Yeah he has. That's why I would like to see some kind of awesome routine on the rings or pb's.

Don't forget the efficiencies of scale. Doing all 4-5 shows as one big production probably means they'll get more bang for their buck.

I know the day this comes out I'll likely be strapped down in my chair for most of the day. It should be a fun ride hopefully.

I would have preferred if they release the episodes over a longer period.. that would help to keep my Marvel cravings satisfied for a longer time.. oh well, cant complain

I will satiate my Marvel cravings like I do now; re-watching followed by more re-watching.

Lots of parkour thru out the entire city and lots of boxing indoors . Gymnastic rings and balance beams as well.

You'll just have to show some restraint when the next episode is on a countdown to start. That way you can pick and choose when you want to watch them.:oldrazz:

Might be easier since I dont get Netflix and am not in the US..

This isn't as surprising/out of the blue as the Ant-Man news IF IT'S TRUE. Hasn't Goddard become involved in the Sinister Six movie or something since his DD announcement? Things might have been moving towards this for awhile.

Honestly, though, I don't see the need for a bunch of doom and gloom about marvel. I had a girlfriend once who watched a documentary about what went into sausage. She could never eat sausage or hotdogs again. Isn't this sort of messy business typical for hollywood, with properties that are in-development being in various states of flux all the time? Don't ask how the sausage is made if you don't want to know what goes into it.

Rock is implying on the Ant-Man thread that Goddard got a big gig for a big comic property (aside from Sinister Six)

The big ones coming up are Justice League, X-Men Apocalypse and ASM 3.

HAHAHAHA Marvel Studios must be a big pain in the ***
