I'm curious whether Netflix shows cast as they film or if they like to get all their ducks in a row first. In other words, whether the casting is complete and just kept a secret or if there will be more news to follow.

That would be a good time for it - right after Agents of SHIELD ends and right after Age of Ultron. It'll help ensure a year round Marvel clock (provided you can resist the urge to watch all the episodes in one day ).

It makes sense that they'd save it all for that, given that these are all NYC-centric shows.

I think it's probably easier to think of it in its own phases, but it'll be released during the time period of Phase 3.

Given that its release is 9 months from now, should we expect a similar turnaround for all these or do you think they can at least release two a year?

May is good, but I hope we don't have to wait until 2016 for Jessica Jones. In a perfect world, there'd only be 6 months between each series.

I think once we'll get news on that soon and once it gets going there will only be a few months between each show. Didn't they ballpark the Defenders for 2016?

They said it would span several years. There was no target date.

I still can't see it taking more than 2 years to get to the Defenders. 3 at most.
