Daredevil Reboot possible casting news...

She better waits for a better role, like Ms Marvel or Black Canary.

I don't think Mary will be Daredevil reboot enemies for she's still an obscure Daredevil foes & people will get reminded of Elektra the movie.

Dont associate that abomination in Elektra as Thphoid Mary if the REAL comic Mary is done right it could be great but i still personally want to see Bullseye.

Wouldnt we have heard director news, etc before casting news? Seems a bit random to me.

I really liked the DD Director's Cut but there really is no need for Elektra to be in any DD reboot. Too many characters when Matt/DD should be the main focus.

Even though it is a random piece of news I suppose it sort of makes sense.

Fox would likely film it out in BC so any preliminary casting rumors would be tipped off to actors from that area first. Not sure why they'd need the Typhoid Mary character in a DD reboot though.

Does Fox still own the rights to Daredevil films, or have they reverted back to Marvel? If Marvel produced a Daredevil reboot, that would be amazing. If Fox still owns the rights, then it would be doomed to suck and I wouldn't care.

Also no way this if for Deadpool. Typhoid Mary is part of the character package licensed to New Regency/Fox.

so does marvel studios have this? im confused?

Why does it need to be rebooted? There are plenty of better characters to focus on then to throw DD around.

Where's the Deadpool movie? Luke Cage? Silver Sable? Cloak and Dagger? Misty Knight and Coleen Wing (or whatever her name was), Dr. Strange? Spider-Woman? Silver Surfer? Moon Knight? Thanos? Adam? Black Widow?

DD had his chance, and it was a rather good film.

Sounds good, plus she was cool in BSG

It could be like TIH where Marvel had creative control, while Fox (or in TIH's case Universal) just distributes. If the rumor about this for Magneto & Deadpool is true, I'd assume it'd be for the rest of the Fox movies too.

Who knows, this could be for the Deadpool movie. Mary is also a Deadpool character.

^ Those "rumors" are not true

Fox owns the rights to the X-Men, Fantastic 4, and Daredevil universes and will be making any films involving those characters for the foreseeable future

If this gets rebooted by Fox I will lose all faith in the idea that Marvel will see the rights to these characters again. At least for the next 15-20 years. I thought Fox had to release the film within five years of the last. No way in HELL this gets made by 2010. But if this film happens with Fox, that would mean Fox gets to sit on their property for about 4-5 years... THEN launch a reboot like 7-8 years after the last movie? I thought Marvel's deal was that a film of that property or characters pertaining to that property have to remain in ACTIVE development or else they shift back to Marvel. A four to five year window of absolutely nothing does not sound like active development to me. Fox seems destined to have these characters for another decade... might be two decades with X-Men. We all know damn well these films will never reach their full potential while Fox is helming them. Jeesh was Marvel desperate when they gift wrapped these franchises to these studios.

I really like Katee Sackhoff, so if this is true, she'd be cool to see.

I attempted this... it's a WIP

Imagine if Fox owned Marvel just like WB owns DC. :csad:
