Dark Horse Aliens Comics

[Max J Power]

Are these any good? I've read some reviews praising them and saying they were a good follow-up to the second movie, so I'm thinking about buying the first omnibus. But I want to see what people on here think too.

The only ones I'm familiar with are Aliens: Book II from 1990 (?). Haven't read them in almost 20 years, though I know I have them stored away somewhere. At the time, I couldn't have asked for a better Aliens story, and I wished that Alien 3 would've resembled something more like these comics.

 

[Dark Victory]

The first volume isn't that good, imo, but 2-6 are excellent.
