There's something so inherently twisted and sick in the Joker's lines and delivery.

Mike Engel show reminded me a lot of the TDKR by Miller. I thought it would have been an excellent chance to introduce Hugo Strange as a psychoanalyst profiling Batman. just a cameo but leave it open.

It's a news segment with several political figures arguing on one side or the other. Obviously, they're not gonna show the whole segment. It does seem well made enough to show up in the film with any one of the main characters, be it either Bruce, Gordon, Harvey or even the Joker, watching a clip from it.

I don't. I prefer the higher pitched voice better.

I hope Nolan doesn't screw up editing this film. If they change those lines we've heard Joker say in a high pitched voice with the sinister voice...that would equal a big fail.

That high pitched voice is perfect for the Joker, I expect him to use both obviously but the lines that he said with a bit of a high note to them sound great.
