It was a good read. I'm not too familiar with Darkseid and the New Gods but it was easy to follow and entertaining.

I also wonder if Fury is even supposed to be in Earth 2: Society? if she is then I guess in a future crossover between E0 and E2 it could happen.

I didn't read World's End so I'm not sure what happened with her there and have been out of the loop regarding that character for months now.

Great first issue! Sinestro Corps War part 1 good. I'm usually a trade waiter, but I'll be picking this up in floppies for sure.

I didn't like how Johns ignored the Earth-2 developments of Miracle Man, Barda, and Fury... but I didn't like those developments as much either so I can get over it. I also didn't like how [blackout]a gun could shoot through Lex's armor[/blackout]. Hopefully Johns will give a decent explanation for that in the next issue.

Those two criticisms aside, this issue was fantastic. I cannot wait for the rest of this event.

It took a while but I finally managed to read my copy, which I bought last week haha.

One word to best describe it would be Intense with a capitol I. There are many things going on at once and yet it's entirely focused. Darkseid looked monstrous and Antimonitor's entrance was chilling. Ahhh, I can't wait for the next issue.

I'm in Australia. I haven't bought a floppy in years, since AC #900. But I was very interested in this and JLA#1, since I'd heard great things everywhere and loved the previews. So since I happened to have a meeting across the street from my old local comic shop this morning, I stopped in and bought those two issues.

It cost me $19.

These... had better be worth it.

Saw the preview for JL #42. Looks great. And I'd like to point out how much Fabok is trying to NOT draw a collar on Superman. Good on him for that, and for great art all over.
