I definitely think I'll hold out for the WiiU version. I'm sure there will be a GOTY version down the road, I can probably get that on Steam some day for $5-7 if I wanted.

So my game is now completely broken.

I was in the 3rd temple (the first one where you use the constructs) on my New Game Plus, and while riding a construct, it just went flying up into the air where it is now stuck.

There is no way to get it down, no way to trigger a previous save since the game only uses the one AUTOSAVE file, with no hard saves and worst of all, there is no way to restart my new game plus. If I wanted to restart, I would have to start from the VERY beginning again... That would mean playing through the game one more time, just to then be allowed to finish my New Game Plus, thus losing all my current progress.


I am so. Frigging. Angry.

You haven't been manually saving it on occasion this whole time?

There is no manual save. When I press start, go to the save button and select it, it just triggers an autosave.

So i'm at the Eternal Throne, and the Chancellor won't spawn even tho i did talk to those two guards blocking the door. Any advice guys?

Awesome game. Beat it a few days ago. The way he takes out that last guy is brutal. Finished the DLC tomb(I think). Made it up to Wave 50 on crucible. Is it worth fighting to the end of it?

If you make it all the way in one go, than you get achievement for it. The last boss you fight is pretty funny

Also beat the game a few days back but I personally was disappointed. Most of the bosses were just generic giants, the side quests weren't very rewarding, the dungeons had no distinct feel to them, and the ending wasn't very clear. [BLACKOUT]Did Death die to restore humanity[/BLACKOUT] or what? The last boss was especially weak. I'm tempted to finish the Soul Arbiter's maze but other than that I think I'm done with the game.

The first one was much better IMO.

^Did you beat the first game? That answers the question regarding what happened to Death.

Terrys right if you fallowing the news on Darkersiders over all on your own if not here, you'd know that this event with was happening at the same time war was dealing with his trials in Darksiders 1.

Also and unfortunately for those that seem to like hopping on a "Game" that had something happen before it in another game of the same name prior to it, wasn't the brightest of idea's to do so, in this case.

Yeah I beat the first game, but that was back when it first came out so I'm probably forgetting something. Where do the timelines meet up? From what I gather[BLACKOUT] Death sacrificed himself to the well of souls, but was maybe revived at the end of the first game when Death broke that talisman thing?[/BLACKOUT]

If it's too complicated to explain, I could probably just check a wiki or something.

I also felt like the game didn't tell it's own story very well and relied too much on the last game's plot. Another reason why I didn't like it that much but maybe that's just because I forgot something.

Just remember with the recent articles they said first of the DLC's for Darksiders II. So there's more to come. It'll mostlikely intersect with the first when their near the end of what ever else they have planned DLC wise. and also possibly connect with the up coming sequel too.

Can I exit, go buy some potions, come back and start at the same spot or will they make me go back to the start?

I think its every 25 waves they save it for you but if you're going for the achievement you have to beat all 100 in one sitting

Darksiders 2 creative director Joe Madureira leaves Vigil Games

Vigil Games founder and creative director Joe Madureira has left the company. The news comes via a tweet, in which Madureira bids farewell to Vigil, thanks publisher THQ and refers to the Darksiders franchise as a "career highlight." In a message on his Facebook fan page, Madureira notes, "I could not be more proud of what we achieved, or the awesome people who helped build up this studio." He adds that Vigil is "in very good hands, so expect only awesomeness down the road."

Madureira plans to reveal "the Next Big Thing" soon. In the meantime, the well-known artist is focusing on his other job, namely "banging out a bunch of comics."

Vigil's most recent game, Darksiders 2, topped the NPD sales chart for August, selling 247,000 copies. Only time will tell what Madureira's departure means for Vigil – and possibly for publisher THQ, which has a lot riding on the success of Darksiders 2.
