I'm glad this trailer is finally cluing some people into what the movie's about. I think if people got a clear idea of what the film was about, maybe they'd stop calling it ******ed. People are saying things like "What's next; Bread: The Movie?"

Well seeing how I also looked up the script transcript for this...I like how they made Zuckerberg look like a complete ******* who is autisitc at times and a sellout to his friends.

This seriously has to be the first Fincher film that hasn't had me waiting excitedly. Word is the story is quite good, and the book it's based off Accidental Billionaires is suppose to be great, who knows, but as of now, not caring much for it. Perhaps the story of Facebook (or the semi-fictionalized version) is just not all that appealing.

I really like the trailer. That cover of Creep somehow works so well and I like the scenes that when Zuckerberg (the kid from ZOmbieland) uses a singular pronoun "You're going to get left behind"/"You're action could've permanently destroyed what I've been working on Eduadro (Garfield) corrects him and says "WE"

I actually have high hopes for this movie

So do I. This and The Walking Dead premiere are the two things in October I'm looking forward to.

Awesome. I'll probably be seeing this film now.

Bad tv spot. The editing and music were pretty poor and all over the place. If you're going to use Kanye West, you might as well fit Sheryl Crow in there, too.

If it wasn't for Eisenberg I'd be so pumped for this. I just don't think I can stand 2+ hours of his voice.

Sounds good. Although that review was painfully pretentious. Exactly what I'm talking about when critics get on my nerves at times. Those words I've never even heard of jumbled my brain. I'm not saying sound like a third grader, sound like a competent critic and write the truth and if it's good. Not having me figuring out what the hell his sentence just meant.

Just playing Devil's Advocate, but some people just naturally talk that way. Sometimes a big word is the only thing they find that actually fits what they're trying to say. But you're probably right, critics do tend to lean towards pretentiousness.

There are other simpler words. Now I'm not saying you can't use them, but they're riddled with them. Sometimes they either sound like they're an English professor or trying to sound intelligent by using more complex words. It becomes too much. Roger Ebert is a great critic because he doesn't throw in big fancy words to sound like he knows movies more than the average joe, he simply understands the film and tells how he feels. Understanding the film is different than just using as many big words as you can. It's no wonder people shun critics. And they are right sometimes. People want to read a review if it's good or bad, not an article where every other word you have to check the dictionary. It's sometimes seems (not every critic) more self indulgance to show off how many words they know.

It's premiering at the New York Film Festival on September 24th. Hopefully the tickets aren't too expensive 'cause I'm definitely going to try to go.

The movie is coming up rather quickly. That's a good thing. October 1st isn't far away.
