His exit from Weapon X and the entire facility look oozed plot holes and inaccuracies from what was already successfully established in X2. Wolverine was better when he had an air of mystery about him. The brief glimpses we got were far superior to everything we saw straight out in Origins.

The reality is that the only decent treatment of Wolverine's Origins would have to be rated R and they won't do that. A bloodless Wolverine isn't really Wolvy at all.

Not being consent with X2 the best X-Men films was a hugh problem for it.

The inconsistency in Origins was not the worst - First Class went against several elements of the earlier films.

It was more that he was such a pussycat. It's hard to portray your hunky male lead as a monstrous killing machine, so they didn't. He had to be the hero, not the animal suggested in the previous films. Suggesting that backstory worked in x1/X2, but then trying to do it as a main story is tricky in some ways. In the end, they shied away from it altogether and made Wolverine a softie.

I can't get over the fact that Origins Wolverine couldn't smell the difference between blood and spray paint.

I'm making a Fan-Edit of Origins and I just wanted to ask what scenes you guys would have cut out and why.

-Edit out Kayla's sister power display
-Edit out Cyclops/Professor X if you think Fox would ignore them in the future movies

Also you could edit out the mid-credit scene and the 2 post-credit scenes.

I actually liked that scene because it hinted Kayla's mutant power and she told Wolverine, she had powers of persuasion, which is very true.

I thought that scene was kinda cheesy, but that's just me!

In my opinion, don't remove the moon story, thats where Logan got the Wolverine name. If Kayla didn't tell that story to Logan, he wouldn't call himself the Wolverine.

I was thinking of editing the moon story back in as a flashback.

Yeh me too. Sure he was over come with grief but she didn't even have any wounds

Lol... but he can get 'blinded' when other senses take over.

After all, he couldn't tell that 'Jean' was Mystique in the tent in X2.

Love and lust can blur a man's senses. We all know how men will say anything when the testosterone is high, lol...

My suggestion, edit it out, story-wise, if you removed why he's there in that facility in the first place, you might as well remove his power display with the guards.

And if I have something to remove from The Wolverine, it would be the short scene where Harada says "This is madness". I don't like the delivery.
