I know, a guy starting a discussion about a soap opera, but in my opinion, the best soap on daytime TV. I've been watching it since I was 5 and now I'm 28, so 23 years. The ccharacters are intrigueing, and as hoaky as the plot-lines are, they're quite amusing and entertaining. No wonder this show has been on the air for 40+ years.

Boooo! This show is so silly. IF you want a good soap turn to ABC. General Hospital and One Life to Live is where it's at. The men looks soooo much better too.

I watch Days off and on. Nice to see Sammi finally get married to Lucas and it looks like it will actually stick. But I dont like Phillip, Sean, or Belle anymore. I LOVED them when they were in highschool and had their own little group but now they are just not the same, even though the original Phillip actor came back.

Stefano is returning soon (My favorite character next to Bo and Patch) EJ is carrying on the DiMera name really well. I agree that Phillip needs a strong reality check.

im addicted to tv and with all the finales starting Im a little sad about the summer void (till july at least)...

So... I added Days to my DVR...

I've never been a mega fan or anything... When I was younger I watched during two periods...

Marlaina and Kristen locked in the hidden room while Susan impersonated Kristen... PURE GOLD. ('Baby Elvis'... 'The Vampires'... I could go on).

I also watch during that bizarre Hope-is-dead-Swamp-Girl era.

So anyway, I DVR-ed it last week or so. I have a bunch of eps banked and watched two so far.

I'm KINDA lost. I don't know who any of the young people are, except Will (who im pretty sure was in diapers like 4 years ago, but I remeber the same thing happened with Belle a few years back).

I figured out towards the end of the second ep that the AJ guy is a DiMera and that JOHN BLACK IS DEAD?!?!?! (for real?... you never can tell).

So, AJ's a DiMira. Im pretty sure Setfeno died at some point, but what's the connection to AJ?

Is the blond in the cave Belle, Marlaina's daughter... if so, the actress changed since I watched.

I remember Victor Carriacus but I can't remeber who he's related to, other than he's rich as was a jerk kinda.... Apparently he kidnapped the blond (Belle?) and the baby (is it his baby or Shawn's baby?)

My point... I'm starting to watch this train wreck again, and as a result, I'll check back into this tread from time to time.

John hasn't died, he's in a coma after EJ Wells shot him (I forgot why EJ shot John).

EJ is Stefano's son by Susan. Stefano hasn't died, he's in his hospital in Italy. EJ raped Sami, and now she is unsure if the baby she is carrying is EJ's or Lucas's. EJ wants Sami to get an amnio, because if it is his, EJ wants to use the baby's stem cells to save Stefano.

Yes, the blonde is Belle. They changed actresses about... I'd say, a year ago.

You're talking about Phillip Kirihakis... son of Victor Kirihakis and Kate Roberts. Claire (Belle's daughter) is Shawn's, for the first year of her life though, Phillip thought Claire was his because both Kate and Victor kept it a secret that they knew that Claire was really Shawn's because they didn't want Phillip and Belle to get a divorce, which eventually they did which made Phillip re-enlist in the Marines, that is why you see Phillip limping from time to time because he lost his leg.

Like I said, Tony is coming back tomorrow cause it showed him in the preview, and he demanded that EJ brings him Sami. Joseph Mascollo who plays Stefano said in Soap Opera Digest that he is returning. So next fall we'll have... Tony DiMera, Stefano DiMera, and EJ DiMera. Some major havoc is going to be reaked in Salem!!

Well, I grew up watching it with my mom and I'm 18 now.

Tony is Back Tomorrow. Stefano will be back at the Beginning of June. John will finally wake up before the month is out, and Lexi is on her way back as well.

EJ stands up to Tony tomorrow... bad idea EJ. At least that shows that EJ has heart and compassion unlike Tony and Stefano. I expect EJ will turn on the DiMera family and help John, Bo, and Roman bring down the crime family
