A Captain Marvel movie with Black Adam would rock, but the killing joke would be too intense for family friendly fare.

Hey these new movies are for the PG-13 crowd- so it might work!

i would love to see a fallowup to return of the joker, maybe get to see nightwing.

Golden Age would be great, it would be nice in the Fleisher animation style.

A CG version of Kingdom Come would ne nice too.

Watchmen would be good too. I'm not sure what style would suit it best though.

As much as I'd love to see some of the better Batman (Year One and The Dark Knight Returns) and Superman (Action Comics #775) comics adapted, there's plenty of animated Batman and Superman already. So it's probably best to stick with the big superhero group/team up stories that can't be done anywhere else.

"This is just the beginning," Levitz assured. In fact, DC want to hear from the fans as to what stories they'd like to see. Levitz stressed that the series was for the fans and would retain the core essence and look of the original tales. The audience shouted a number of possible stories. One, however, earned a promising response from Levitz. "The Dark Knight [Returns], we have talked about."

Oh God, that'd be awesome. All of this could really be a dream come true for, well, everyone. I just pray DC and WB does everything first class.

Wow. Animated DKR. More great news. They better get rolling on these things, because I want them all now.

With Tim on board, you can pretty much guarantee it!

Anyone remember when Frank Miller talked about a secret animated project in one of the interviews? This could very well be DKR!

I think Batman: No Man's Land could be epic!

They might need to divide that up into two or three seperate discs...

I don't know what it is about this that gets me so damn excited. I already read the comics, I'm not really a big cartoon guy, but damn it all I can't wait to see what else they decide to adapt and hopefully it's done with as much class as Dini and Timm treated the material with.

Thanks for nothing.

I belive it was the series in the comics where the Teen Titans fought Slade and Tara turned on the Titans and eventually commited suicide. If you watched Teen Titans on TOON, you probably got a little flavor of what happened. That's about it in a nutshell

DC and Warner Bros have great potential with this. Imagine all sorts of possibilities:

1. Movies that are word for word adaptations of comics such as New Fronteir, Watchmen, Kingdom Come, etc. Something which many claim that Ultimate Avengers should had done.

2. Movies set in the universe of Superman the Movie/Superman II/Superman Returns and Batman Begins

3. Movies set in the universe of the DC Animated Universe continuing the stories of Batman the Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League. Stories could also be told of heroes that haven't had their own shows such as Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, and more obscure ones such as Booster Gold, Etrigan, etc. Stories could also be told of events such as the Near Apocalypse of '09.

Titles I want to see them adapt:

1. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller style)

2. Identity Crisis

3. Batman: Hush (with Jim Lee character designs)

4. Kingdom Come (will HAVE to be CG)

5. Booster Gold (origin story)

6. WHO AM I KIDDING?? I COULD GO ON FOREVER!!!....

That's what I thought, thanks.

This is awesome news:eek:

Personally i'd love to see an animated Kingdom Come movie. Batman Year Two would cool to see and theres tons more possibilities.
