DC animated series you'd like to see...

We will soon be getting Young Justice and then by November of next year, we will have a Green Lantern CGI animated series. I've also heard that we will be getting another Batman series by James Tucker now that Brave and the Bold will be ending after their third season.

What I'd like to see from Warner Animation in the near future....

Captain Marvel: Seriously, how perfect would this be for an animated series?
Justice League International: Booster Gold and Blue Beetle in particular.
Wonder Woman: I think it's time it happened. Maybe set it in the same general continuity as her DTV like Disney used to spin off their animated films into a series.
Superman: Batman's gotten, what, four different series in the last two decades? I think it's due time we got to see an animated Supes on the small screen again. There's plenty of story potential.

What do you guys think?
I'd like a new Superman but I don't think WW and Captain Marvel would do well in an animated TV series, Justice League excluded. Justice League International isn't popular or well known enough do stay for more than 1-2 seasons. With Young Justice, Green Lantern and Batman getting TV shows, in addition to Superman, I'd like the Flash and Nightwing to be added to this new "DCAU"
Voices:
Superman-Adam Baldwin
Batman-Kevin Conroy(obviously)
Green Lantern(Hal)-Dermot Mulroney
Green Lantern(John)-Phil LaMarr
Green Lantern(Kyle)-Will Friedle
Flash(Barry)-Neil Patrick Harris
Flash(Wally)-Josh Keaton
Robin/Nightwing(Dick)-Loren Lester

I'd like to see this get confirmed after BTB&TB ;)

Word is that the next Batman animated series may be a CGI series titled "Batman Infinity".

The series is inspired by recent storylines and deals with Batman/Bruce Wayne being blasted by Darkseid's Omega Beam while on a JLA mission and being lost in Hypertime.

Each episode will feature Batman materializing in an alternate world where he must assume a modified costume and equipment to blend in, assuming the identity of that world's Batman (that world's Batman having been shifted elsewhere due to the Omega effect).

Alternate worlds would include realities where Batman is a cowboy, pirate, knight, vampire, etc. as well as more familiar worlds inspired by various eras from comic book history (Golden Age, Silver Age, 1960s, 1970s, etc) with artwork inspired by some of the greatest Batman artists (Dick Sprang, Neal Adams, Frank Miller, etc.).

Batman will also encounter alternate versions of his supporting cast (Robin, Commissioner Gordon, etc.) as well as other DC heroes and villains.

Besides Batman, the only other regular will be The Phantom Stranger who will be on hand to provide Batman with information on his new world and what he has to do to move on to the next world in an effort to get back home. The Phantom Stranger is essentially Al to Batman's Sam.

The series is inspired by Quantum Leap and Sliders and will make great use of the various Elseworld's Batman stories that have been published through the years.

It is hoped that the new series with the variant Batman costumes will help generate a huge line of merchandising such as action figures for each alternate Batman.

Dragonflies only have a twenty-four hour lifespan.

Yeah, I'd rather have it be traditional animation. CG sounds cool and fitting for GL, but this? Eh...

The more that I think about it, I think this would probably get old after a few episodes.

Seems like it would be the episode "Legends of the Dark Knight" turned into a whole series.

I would also like to see a series on New Gods.

JSA animated series.
Captain Marvel animated series.
LOSH in CGI animation.
Gotham Central would be awesome as live action.
Challengers of the Unknown live action.

Captain Marvel!!! NOW!

This was also posted at the Toonzone forums and it was proven to be a fake.

Anyway, at Comic-Con James Tucker said they're only in the initial planning stages for the show and haven't even thought of a concept yet. The only thing that he said is that it may be in 3D animation like the upcoming Green Lantern series.

I dont really see any purpose for them to do Batman in CG animation. It just feels unnecessary.

I want a Flash animated series with Michael Rosenbaum doing the voice. You don't need to shave your head to voice a cartoon!

Neither do I, but capitalism + greed = lack of originality. That's our world.

"The Superman" - an over the top Superman, in the way The Batman was over the top for kids, perhaps nodding to anime tropes of powering up, going into overdrive and such as Superman handles his larger than life villains, all of which can level cities, naturally.

Wonder Woman - a spinoff of the well done recent DTV.

Anyone remember way back in the day when HBO did the animated Shakespeare things? I'd like to see them do the DC Elseworlds in that style.

Superman and The Flash definitely. They could do so much with that. I'd suggest Manapul's art as a basis for the Flash series combined with an Infantino throwback look...

YES. That movie was PERFECT for sending out a WW series. Lauren Montgomery is one of the most talented animators in the field today, and the Timm team would really capture the character's grace and mythological roots.

Besides, we didn't see enough of Artemis or Cheetah!

I remember those! Shakespeare Animated - with different art styles for each play. It was a bold effort. I hate the kid-targeted Illustrated Novels they released, took the taste out of them.

Since you brought it up - an HBO mini-series centered around Kingdom Come. Too ambitious?

That'd be cool. That reminds me, I'd love to see a Golden Age style JSA series.

I've been talking about this since ABSOLUTE JUSTICE. But I pictured a live-action series - the animated one sounds even better.

The Flash would be top priority for me if I was working at WB.

HBO would be the best venue for Kingdom Come in my opinion.
