DC Direct is releasing a Michael Keaton as Batman bust !!

That looks pretty cool. I just wish it wasn't so glossy, but it still looks badass.

HOLY S%!T!!! :wow:

that is just too awesome

normally, i'm not a fan of busts as i like to have full body statues

but that one is just too cool to pass up

anyway we can pre-order it or do we have to wait until its release date??

I think you can pre-order it now. It's also selling on Ebay. And I think a statue is just right around the corner as they've done both busts and statues of both Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter. They will probably do the same with Keaton.

I'll just wait on a statue like I did with Reeve.

on second thought, i think i'll wait for the statue as well

i just noticed that the bust is only 5 inches

seems really small for the price they are asking for ($80)

I may buy them both if I can. But the statue would be the priority of course.

It's nice to see that DC hasn't forgotten about Michael Keaton and the Tim Burton movies.

The statue looks gorgeous, but its so ****ing expensive...

I wish they would be just 30$ but DC doesn't sell them for less than a 100$ I believe. But you may find them cheaper on Ebay.

I'd love it if they would rerelease the B89 action figures (like Hasbro is doing with Empire Strikes Back), because:
A. I wasnt around to get the original B89 action figures
B. I'm so ****in' cheap
C. It would be an awesome way for DC to celebrate 75 years.

Mattel should get off their asses and make Batman '89 Movie Master figures

though at the rate they are releasing their Dark Knight and Ghostbusters figures, we probably won't be getting them until 2018 :cmad:

BATMAN in '89 added to an already very successful boom period in the comics industry as a whole and that's something no one will forget.

Will they do Jack Nicholson as The Joker?

I like Michael Keaton as Batman bust though.

In case you haven't seen it yet, go to the "Products" section and check out the
"Mattel?...You really need to get on this Burton/Batman 6-inch thing...toot sweet! " thread.
There's a pic there of a new 12" statue of MK as Bats, meant to go with their Lynda Carter as WW and Chris Reeves as Supes statues. Really nice.

That is so awesome! It's about time they did something like that for Keaton. I would like it if they made some really nice and well detailed action figures for the old movies. One of Jack as Joker with a different head where his make up is all goofed up from the museum scene when Vivki throws water in his face and has his artists' hat on, then one for each villian from the movies, I don't care about B&R, but one for the Riddler and Robin would be cool.

Ya' know like those cool figures from Mcfairlane toys. That type of thing, the ones that come in those boxes you can't open unless you cut them open, I'm sure you all know what I mean.:awesome:
