Here is the location to make nepheritos wanted mission easier. Fight him on the platform to the left of the kiosk. His spinning rocks won't hit you. He is too tall to climb the stairs and you can range him down. I was holding phone in one hand and just spamming triangle. Also the quality is not great was pointing phone at tv while downing nepheritos. If you get knocked down just get on the platform again.

I participated in my first Alert last night(where I am). Area 51. How the hell do you kill the Prime Servitor?? Me and four random heroes hit him with everything we had and his life bar didn't even move.

I love the whole random teaming up bit though. Felt like a goddamn hero. I wanna create a character for a PvP server but I don't think I have the patience to put up with being targeted by lvl 30 *******s.

I feel like it is. It's not perfect but if you're a fan of DC, this is definitely a must have IMHO.

I have a question about DCUO. How to enter a fight with other human player on a PvE server? Is there something I should activate? Cause there are such PVP oriented quests on the PVE servers (like kill 5 heroes/vilains or the lanterns quests)...

On the PS3 if you press up on the D-Pad it will bring up a pop up menu where you can enable your PVP flag. But I think you can only fight other people who also have that flag on.

I wonder if they're going to be making any DCU-based spaces available on PSN Home? Like so many other games do.

Edit: From what I understand this game is just Metropolis and Gotham. I hope it's expanded more to include other DCU locales like Coast City, Star City, Hub City, Central City, Bludhaven,Themyscira and even Atlantis and non-Earth locations like Oa from the GL mythos. It is DC Universe after all.

It would make more sense here considering how community oriented this game is. Im sure Sony will at some point

Alerts and raids

Instances also include the solo battles at the end of quest chains.
Those have brought me to places like Kandaq & Atlantis.
The Alerts have brought me to Bludhaven, Area 52, The Moon, Oolong Island, Smallville, etc.

Yes. You can only attack flagged people. But you'd be amazed how quickly someone will attack you if you're flagged. (thus flagging themselves).

I've completed all of the Alerts except for the Smallville one where I understand at the end you fight Doomsday. My group and I couldn't even get past the first objective point where they make you defend 3 spots; we couldn't defend the first spot enough to move onto the second.

All the other Alerts have been ok with the gear I had at the time but I think that the Smallville Alert is meant for when you literally have the best or second best PvE gear obtainable from the JLA Watchtower shops.

Ah that explains a lot. I made a villain on a PvE server because I simply wanted to do the Magic-Villain missions to see it from another POV since I did the Magic-Hero missions on my main. So the people who are flagged appear in purple on the radar I'm guessing?

Comptentcy is always more of a factor than gear check.

I know this for a fact, as my group took Smallville on when most of us were in 24 greens with a few blue's from the other 30 alerts we took on....

Ah that explains a lot. I made a villain on a PvE server because I simply wanted to do the Magic-Villain missions to see it from another POV since I did the Magic-Hero missions on my main. So the people who are flagged appear in purple on the radar I'm guessing?

Villains/Heroes who are -not- flagged show up as purple on your map. Enemies whom you can attack show up as red.

I absolutely HATE missions in games where you have to defend something or somewhere.
