this one is a lot less complicated you choose either DC or Marvel for the each of the following categories

1. Characters
2. Stories
3. Power (as in which companys has the more powerful characters)
4. media interpretations ( movies, tv etc)

The only character that DC has that is truly more powerful than any Marvel counterpart is the Flashes. Everybody knows Marvel does not have "a speed force", even Marvels top speedsters dont even come close to Flash speeds, that is something that bugs me, but whatever.

DC really doesnt have any tankers like Hulk, Thing, Juggernaut, etc... DC does have powerful characters such as Superman, but most would admit that the Sentry is even m,ore powerfu than Supeman.

Also marvel has WAY ore characters, so even if DC has slightly more powerful charace (which I dont think they do) they would still lose in the pwer department because marvel has so many numbers.
