MuL: Marvel Ultimate League

Based on the DTL(Dream Team League) in the Misc. forum...

like the dtl, we will be using both marvel and dc universe characters., Unlike the dtl, The MuL will have a unique scheduling and base system...


First off., So there isn't total choas. I am commissioner over the league and as time goes by(hopefully a bunch of people join) I will need help in keeping track of Rosters, Match Schedules, Voting Schedules, Trades, Pick ups and the such and will need other co-commishes


5 characters to a roster/owner
- This will allow a lot of people to be able to join MuL without people struggling too hard to find a character
-- No Doubling of characters unless the variation is suggnificant enough to be concidered a seperate character
--- Cyclops and Cyclops (Fathers and Sons) is not exceptable, but Cyclops and Cyclops (Ultimate) is
Example:

Devistating Silence (Owner: AnnoyingSilence)
Despero
cable (burnt offering)
cable
death stroke
wolverine (ultimate)

Each match is totally unrelated to any other match that is, was or might be going on... This will allow the Owners of the teams to have a great time without feeling obligated to stick to a strict schedule
- Meaning that you and the person that agrees to "Fight" you will be the ones to scheduling the match
-- Number of characters participating(1 vs 1 to 5 vs 5(or handicapped matchs(1 vs 2 and on))), Location, Theme and Due Date of Write-up(Your write-up will be the breif summary, elongated analysis or story on which you tell how your person or team can beat the other persons' person or team) will be agreed upon by the opponents in the battle
Example:

Jim vs Joe agree to do battle on the dark side of the moon(where the x-men fought for Jean), the theme is no powers and write-ups will be do in 2weeks, sept 20.... 4 days afterwards, voting will begin

Your record will reflect your participation
- you may be 5-2 while someone else is 22-5
-- 2 months(8 weeks) of none participation or notice will be an auto drop out

Question, Mr. AnnoyingSilence Sir, what i the usual time table of events? I see that it says the participants choose their own due date, however, I'm curious as to how fast these write-ups are made. Depending on the usual time, I'd be willing to join in and have some fun.

Since everything is agreed upon(meaning that your ready to compete), I'd have to say between 1 day to 2 weeks

In the DTL is was always a daunting 5 on 5, here you will have choice of:

1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 1v4, 1v5, 2v2, 2v3, 2v4, 2v5, 3v3, 3v4, 3v5, 4v4, 4v5 and 5v5

Pre-battle for this one... Supes can definitely NOT resist Cables' Telepathy

In this Pre-Battle, they will have all the resources that they would normally have:

Superman would have anything in the Watch Tower
and Cable would have... pretty much whatever he wanted

For this one, Cable needs no equipment and Superman will atleast grab the martian psi-block

See... I'm barely half way through how the write-up planning... thats the good thing about personally scheduling... no pressure.

Battle:



On the moon, there is only one place that has atmosphere... The Blue Area of the Moon...


After having read through each others profile, Cable flies to the middle of the field, calling for superman...


Glancing around, Cable: Superman!... I know your already here and I know you can hear me.-

Appearing 15ft infront of Cable, Superman: So you got one too, uh?... Well, must I say that it is an honor to be fighting someone of such stature.

Cable: I'll make it quick.

Superman: We'll see about that.


As the two continue to measure thier opponent, anticipating the first move... Suddenly, Cable grabs Superman by his ankles, flinging him into the wreckage below...

Superman barely affected, tries for a frontal attack, but his only meet by another of Cables' Massive Tk attacks.. Sending Superman, now deep into the Moon its self!..

Superman: Well, if I can't meet you head on.,..


Superman stiffins his body and quickly drills out of the moon in the opposite direction as Cable..

Waiting in mid(Atmosphere)?, Cable: Its nice of you to wear telepathic protection..., Means I'm going to bruise you to dea-

Bulleting back into the atmosphere, Superman blasts Cable in the back of the head, Shoulder Blocks Cable at full speed and follows through, Colliding witht he ground with Cable under him(Creating a crater 10ft in diameter)-

Pounding at Cables shield, Superman: Everything has its Limits!

Forcing Superman off of him, Cable puts Superman in a Vice Grip, pulling Superman off of him..

Cable: Just some more higher than others... Your Psi-Block has a weakness to it... Its not set for Humans-

Taking a deep breath, Superman focuses his Artic Breath on the ground under Cable, then follow abruptly with his heat vision, causing a heat and cold fluxuation with great intensity it Explodes, Freeing Superman.
