Yeah, my friend bought this recently, and we returned to his flat - to get the bejebus scared outta us. It's suspenseful, damn scary and yet, pretty to look at. I'd recommend it
...now gonna have to watch the animated film, too.

Yea, the games awesome, but hard. I keep getting stuck, and I refuse to buy any more weapons till I complete the One Gun trophy.

Ditto. Especially in the later levels it gets more difficult. I'm constantly running low on ammo.

The Leviathon has been the hardest so far. I kept forgetting I could Zero-G jump until it was too late, and got swiped by the tentacles.

Use the gun that you have to charge (I can't think of the name) on the tentacles. One shot will blow up the tentacles, and then use your kinesis to throw those "globs" it hurls at you back in it's mouth. Once you get the hand of it you can beat it in about 5 min.

I'm on Chapter 5, this game is intense! I'm not much of a gamer, but a friend got a PS3, so I've been playing games he has/rents. I like the story and the atmosphere, it's scurry as hell.

I'm on Chapter 6. This is a seriously underrated game if you ask me, its just as good as Resi 4.

It's friggin' awesome, sweet cheeks. It's at the very least worth a rent. Hardcore gore-beef action.

88% at Gamerankings.com is not really underrated, plus pretty much every site has been praising the game. The only reason people aren't buying it is because it's a new franchise. That and there are a lot of big titles coming out soon.

I also dont think it was promoted all that well. Im hearing more about Dead Space from the forums than I did from media outlets. I probably wouldnt even know much about the game or what it was about had I not read people's comments on it

Is that the centrifuge thing where you slide the two pieces into it? Did you slow things down?

Yeah, you have to use stasis to slow it down. I don't know what you mean by "too far"

Got this game from Gamefly today, been playing for a total of 4 hours, and I'll say that his game is a solid master piece! Everything about it is just perfect. I just made it past the part where that one ******* cuts off all my air and I gotta make a run for it. Got all the 4 weapons and the level 3 suit.

Electronic Arts has announced that it will be releasing a boatload of upgrade packs for Dead Space. The downloads are due out on November 13 for Xbox 360 worldwide and in Europe for the PlayStation 3. The worldwide PlayStation Network will get the packs on November 20. Both platforms will be receiving their share of exclusive content. None of the packs appear to be free, though no price tags were included with the PlayStation 3 exclusive content. The rest range in cost from 80 MS points (US $1) to 320 MS points ($4).
