Deadpool Movie...?

sorry if it was posted already but...I just don't understand why there isn't a Deadpool movie, yet.
he is an awesome character. a movie with him would be really cool...like, an action-comedy movie. this would be a new type of superheroes movies. if I were a director, I'd do everything to bring this character to life.
but I never see any kind of information about him.
if they have the audacity and courage to do even a Electra movie, an Ant-Man movie and Power-Pack movie (don't ask)...why not Deadpool?
anyone already heard any news?

Ryan Reynolds (Blade: Trinity, Van Wilder) posted again on the official 'Blade: Trinity' message boards about the possibility of starring in a 'Deadpool' movie for Marvel Studios:

"Deadpool? i've had several meetings with Avi Arad about playing Wade. I know David has been approached as well, but ultimately, it just seems too complicated to get into right now."

I'd like to see a Deadpool movie, but I dont think the whole "breaking the fourth wall" thing would work too good in a movie.
