Inless Fox surprises us I don't expect a trilogy.I expect First Class to be seen as Prequel
to X-Men and X2 making a trilogy or prequel to trilogy.
The Wolverine will be next film In series.Hugh jackman said this weekend they are close to picking a director and filming Is scheduled to Beguin In October.I wouldn't exactly bet On Deadpool.Fox may very well take away from First Class they need starts from X-Men 1-3 to get audences.
X4/X5 was probally the backup plan If First Class underperformed which It has.Expect
that to be the next full X-Men film.And I fully expect bryan Singer to direct It.Especilly since the story Idea Fox liked probally came from him.Remember It was after he became
Involved with First Class that Lauren Shuller Donner's statements about X4 changed from no plans to possibilty to talking about It to In Devolpment.
X4 will not be spending a whole lot of time coming up with ways to rewrite what happened In Last Stand.Inless Fox lets Singer Ignore Last Stand Cyclops will not be In It. They don't even have to mention the cure since the last shot had Magneto's powers returning.And the post credit scene allows Xavier to be back without calling attention to The Last Stand.patrick Stewart was quoted recently as saying he hopes Fox remembers he and Ian Mckellan are still around and available.
I wouldn't exactly count on Deadpool eather.For starters Fox could decide having someone ehadline a X Men related film without any familar cast(Since Deadpool Is supose to Ignore Wolverine that may make them cautaus) and so far no word if Ryan Reynolds can even fit Deadpool Into his schedule.With a script and Director If Deadpool doesn't go Into production by end of 2012 It ainet happening.
