I'm looking for the songs that defined the eighties. All the number one hits by all the old great bands.

So for the older members here, can you think of any?

Men at Work PERIOD defined the 80s. Them and Duran Duran.
 
They dont have many good ones, and I want the ones posters here loved.

well the never-ending story theme defined my childhood. as for songs that defined the 80s,alot of them has been posted but there are more and i wish i could remember the title of some of them.
 
What was that one song by the Talking Heads? It was one of the songs on the 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills' soundtrack..........I think :confused: I remember it being good though.
 
I don't like most of the mainstream stuff in the 80's it seems..but I like 80's music.
