Deleting Visitor Messages

I looked all through the FAQ and though it says I can delete the visitor messages on my profile page, I can't.

I mean it gives me the option to "soft" delete, which still shows that a user left a message, but deletes the message they sent.

I would love to know how to delete the entire message.
Even if there is a DELETE ALL to get rid of all my messages on my profile, I could go with that.

I think I have over 10 pages of messages I've read again and again.

Any help you can give me is much apprecitated, thanks!

yes, I check the boxes and then hit delete and it takes me to a page where it only lets me select "soft delete". The "soft delete" option leaves the author's name, but deletes the content of the message.

I need to know how to delete all of it.

im not sure you can other than a soft delete

But I've seen other users do full deletes on messages .. and they're not mods.

That's why I'm confused :S

I think you see the author's name but no one else does.
