Waxing amazed at how great the original "Back to the Future" was,.....

And having your son say:

What?

You describe the movie in detail,.. and he asks:

Did it come out and I missed it?

You watched Back to the Future while you were waxing yourself?

You wax in front of your son? :funny:

I'm normally not saying how great it is to hit kids (that's a lie) but you should hit him for the horribleness that is what he just did.

How old is he? Because the punishment depends on that.

Starting a thread on realizing that life is sometimes depressing in the things you take for granted,... and having to explain THAT.

There is nuch more to be depressed about than this. you could just show him the movie ...

To answer:
He wasn't here (born) WHEN THE TRILOGY was done.

He watches Star Trek TOS and wondered why I enjoyed it,... Until I told him it was cutting edge Science Fiction in 1964,....

His Mom bought Him and his brother the complete TMNT,... the Christopher Reed Superman Movies,.. And cut their teeth on Star trek TNG.

Caning. Works. :o

how would he know about it unless he was told by an older person ? You should have told him earlier, then

Well that is going way back , I think kids have it made these days the way technology is.

Back to the future still looks good though , I think.

Do kids nowadays really think that movies we saw in the 70's and 80's are for old farts?

20 years from now the next generation will be saying the same thing about HSM and Twilight.

More like the idea that anything before them being here could be worth "cool time"

I hate kids today with all this emo bulls***. They are dull and clueless. /rant

I used to love watching the universal monster movies that were way before my time. What happened to the youth of america.

Personally, I blame the parents. As a parent, it is your responsibility to keep a Back To The Future DVD in your home. If you don't steer your children toward good movies, who will?

I would NEVER let my children watch filth like Back to the Future. Psh. Only Barney and Mutant Screaming Puppets/Yo Gabba Gabba for them.
