do you have the volume one hardcover? it kicks ass. started me on powers and then i just tracked down and bought like the next 40-odd issues online. unfortunately i'm still missing some recent ones: v.2 #s: 10, 11, 13, 14, 17

whatever bendis screws up now, powers will always make him a god in my eyes. (although i wish i got into top10, the superpowered police squad comic.picked up a cupla cheap issues and alan moore's dialogue in it is incredible. bendis must have got SOME inspiration from that world)

What is it that's making it the last issue, SIAT?
surely the fact its new avengers: disassembled and so it looks like spider-man will barely/no longer be in it? (question to SIAT more than iloveclones) and his name's spideyinatree (i.e. spidey-lover :))

Is Powers #17 the one with Gambit's letter in it?

^ok, like most of what you do darth, you're gonna havta explain that one to me. :(

A member of the Hype, Gambit8370, a harsh critic of Mr. Bendis (how's that for political?), had a letter printed in Powers. I can't remember if it was a letter, or something excerpted from the 'net.

Considering the main reason that I'm reading this book is Spider-Man, and there is going to be a very serious lack of Spider-Man...I really see no point in continuing to purchase this title, and replace it in my pull list with something else. I do need to make room for a lot of things, too many great comics out there and so little money. :(

But I wanted to get Captain America and Luke Cage's stories from New Avengers before I dropped it. I really have no use for Spider-Woman, I think she sucks. :o

I've got the first six volumes of Powers in trade paper back. And I started reading the second volume since issue # 1. I've finally been able to get to my Powers trades and I'm on Volume 4, Supergroup, where the FG-3 break up, and...well...one of the members is found in a very disgusting death scene. But I really, really like Powers, my only gripe is how Bendis has the panels stretch over two pages, and in the trade paper backs when it gets to the spine you can't read some of the word balloons, IT IS ANNOYING!!!

SIAT is way easier to type than SpideyInATree. In my newbinski days of the Hype many posters in the Community used to called me SHIAT. :O

I know it seems to be veering that way, but has it been officially anounced that Spidey won't be with the Avengers after CW?

Theres going to be 2 Avengers teamns now, odds are he'll be on one of them.

I'm just sort of under the impression that it is going to happen. I've seen the solicits for many of the future issues and there is a serious lack of Spider-Man. I need to save 2.99 anyway. :o

Testament Akedah Tp-eventually.
Amazing Spider-man #534
Civil War Front Line #4
Daredevil #87
New Avengers #22
Powers #19

Now that's a week of good ****in' comics.

first off, too complicated
secondly, pretty sure my shop sold out of those issues
thirdly, Marvel churns out trades at a pretty good rate so I will probably just follow my original plan
Yeah, stick with the trades. It may take awhile to catch up but DD is worth the wait.

Bendis and Oeming always take a couple months off between arcs on Powers. Remember it is a self published book and both Bendis and Oeming are pretty busy guys.

I'm on Sellouts right now.

I really dug Supergroup a lot. Pretty messed up the corporation having a fail safe built into all three members like that.

Anarchy was pretty decent.

But, yeah, I'm really into Sellouts. The one guy is sort of like Batman, heh. Kind of neat. I like getting all the extras with the trades, especially the cool Oeming/Bendis interviews.

Yeah, it'd be cool to see what you think of Forever, especially the monkey sex issue.lol. It is the greatest origin known to man, though. You'll see
