Yeah, I'm willing to try out anything from Vertigo that deals with the imprint's old, familiar stomping grounds of mysticism and the supernatural. Plus, all the previews I've seen of Amy Reeder Hadley's art look amazing.
Yeah, it's mangaish, but in a good way. It's very detailed and the coloring is very subtle. I hope she can continue to produce art with that level of quality on a monthly basis.
I wasn't familiar with House of Mystery at all, but a few minutes on Wikipedia caught me up before I read the issues. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't have even needed to do that. The main focus of HoM is a completely new character (as far as I'm aware). I just hope that Madame Xanadu doesn't require any previous knowledge of the character, as I've never even heard of her before this book.
