Diamond List for October 29th, 2008

Yeah, it's actually pretty essential reading. It gives a lot of background on the characters like Princess Omaka and Axeman bone. It's a lot of history and it also adds some perspective besides the whole Skaar is the savior thing. Given that we're only three issues a good amount of ground has been covered so far plot and character background-wise. Skaar has even said his first words!

But yeah, it's basically Planet Hulk mixed with Conan mixed with some other crazy sci-fi stuff. I like it a lot.

Cool. I'm not looking forward to the Silver Surfer being back on Sakaar though. I hated his involvement in PH
 
Probably because he got his ass kicked by the Hulk. I didn't much like that either, but I chalked it up to the obediance disk f***ing up the Surfer's powers. In a strictly physical fight, I could see the Hulk beating the Surfer.
