I know. I'm telling myself right now that I'm not buying it. But when I hit the LCBS, that "(of 5)" will be staring at me, begging me to give it one more try.

I'm in the same boat about Warsong. Two issues in and I'm just really not feeling it. The art's pretty and all but I never cared for the Cuckoos and Pak's story just feels a little pointless. But it always is tough to not finish out a series after you've gotten a 3rd through it. Hence why a lot of times if I'm unsure, I'd rather skip the entire thing. So I'll likely get issue #3 to "give it a chance" and then probably won't like it but get the rest just to be a "completist". Hey, it worked for STRANGE (and the latter half of THE INTIMATES), and I'd almost sell that at $1 an issue.

I'm iffy on Detective if that's the "fill-in" issue. I'm only on that title for Paul Dini, so an issue without him seems pointless to get (and keeps an extra $2.99 in my wallet). But in principle, the fill-in may be good and if I don't support him, then I prove Marvel right whenever they go, "we don't give a damn about late books because fill-in's don't sell so we'd rather let the original creators do every issue, even if it means waiting an extra 2, 3, 4 months or heck, 2, 3, 4 years" and lose the ground to whine about that practice.
