I don't know his work. I can't recall seeing his name before and I haven't Googled him or anything.

Daredevil #101
Marvel Spotlight Marvel Zombies
Thunderbolts #117
Ultimate Spider-man #115
What If Planet Hulk

So, yeah: Beowulf. Any good?
The first couple issues have been pretty good. The art is not what I expected on an adaptation of such a revered text, but the artist's good. The story is pretty much exactly what you'd expect.

Invincible #46 $2.99
Walking Dead #43 (mr) $2.99

Black Panther #31 $2.99

I really have to get into Invincible some day. I could have jumped on this title a while back...but, I keep holding out. Same with Y, The Last Man.

INVINCIBLE is so pleasing that it sucks away all my jaded, comic fan bitterness, at least for 22 pages. There are three hardcovers although after the first you should tell if it is your bag. If you like superheroes, I can't imagine not enjoying it.

I have a brand new sealed vol 2 invincible hardcover for sale

Star Wars Dark Times #6 $2.99
Gotham Underground #1 (of 8) $2.99
Tales Of The Sinestro Corps Parallax #1 2nd Ptg $2.99
Tales Of The Sinestro Corps Superman Prime #1 $3.99
Velocity Pilot Season #1 $2.99
She-hulk 2 #22 $2.99
Thunderbolts #117 $2.99
What If Planet Hulk $3.99
X-men #204 $2.99
X-men Die By The Sword #2 (of 5) $2.99
X-men First Class Vol 2 #5 $2.99

Is Daredevil worth reading? I've been thinking about picking this book up. Is it a good time to "jump in"?

It's excellent. I'd track down the whole of Brubaker's run which should be easily found in trade or single issue form. If you really want to get into the book, start with #26 (the start of Bandis/Maleev) and keep going. If you really, really want to dive in, start from the MK relaunch.

Good. It's clear and consistent, with a strong yet stylized sense of anatomy and solid layouts. But a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's IDW's preview page for it:

Looks alright. Maybe a bit too animated for a Beowulf story, but whatever. I'll see the movie instead.

Yeah, that's what I meant about it not being quite the style I expected for Beowulf. The artist reminds me of Mark Brooks, actually.
