That's just how events are now aren't they. I mean, honestly, how many of the tie-ins and spinoffs were really significant to Secret Invasion last year? There are a few exceptions I know, but I'd say we could have probably done without a good 1/3 of them or more.

True. Although I did read some good ones for SECRET INVASION. I agree, though, a lot of times "event taggers" are used too much.

It's written by Hickman, Fraction, and (for some reason) Peter Milligan. No Bendis.

Hmm. Then I may consider it, since it is a small enough week that one $4 one shot really won't add to the wallet pain much. I feel odd not spending at least $9-$10 on comics for a week (I usually average about $20).

Ill be picking up Batman & Robin and Streets of Gotham for sure. More than likely I'll go with Detective, because even though it's Batwoman and Renee as the Question, it's also Rucka, and I'm hoping his stories have the same vibe as his earlier Detective run.

Maybe the Gotham City Sirens too, but we'll see. Screw Judd Winick, though

Every time I think it might be time to give Winick another chance, the words "Scarebeast" and "Jason Todd" flash in my mind like bright neon warnings.
