This is the last issue of the McDuffie FF run before Millar & "Slowpoke" Hitch come on board for 12-18 issues, which should all be published in 24-48 months. I am unsure on sticking around for that. McDuffie's FF run has been fun but nothing too noteworthy. NEW AVENGERS ANNUAL has the final Hood battle assault thing with that Deathlok cyborg (I think), so hopefully it won't stink, as the Hood has been one of the few decent things Bendis has done on NA lately. MA #8 will have the delayed and now pointless "Symbiote Story", which I am dreading (pun intended). Naturally, A:TI and CA will be the things to look out for. Another average size week for me, but looks like it will be a solid one.

Is Salem one of those Virgin books?

No, it's a Boom! series about 13 witches in colonial Salem who embody different aspects of the crucifixion or something. The description I read was vague, but the cover art looks good and the premise sounds novel, so I'm gonna give it a try.

Yeah, Proof is great. I was really surprised by just how great it is. The fact that everyone involved is committed to the book and making it sure it ships on time every month, well, that's the cherry on top, for me.

That's a good point. I still have my reservations, though, seeing as how movie writing and comic book writing are more similar than songwriting and comic book writing.
