It's so weird we're getting a Nightwing film. There has to be some larger plot here. No way they just decided "eh, **** it--Nightwing's cool, right?" It has to play into something.

They couldn't possibly kill Bruce in The Batman and have Dick take it up, right? Maybe Bruce doesn't DIE, but possibly too injured to continue?

Johnson's been underutilized at Marvel and would have likely continued to do so under them.

Give him the bat-series and the prestige quality surrounding that property will take of everything else. Get Taron on board while they're at it.

Hoechlin was definitely miscast on Supergirl. He is a better fit for Nightwing with that ass. Cavill also has a big ass, so maybe the casting standard for live action versions of Superman is the size of the actor's ass.

I honestly would like him to play a Robin if the DCEU was going on a more light hearted path.

He was wonderful in Lego Batman and I also adore his previous works. Lovable guy.

Then see the two of them carry on in the Nightwing solo film. That could be a great character dynamic that we haven't seen on film before, not to mention a prominent handicapped character in a superhero film.

I'd love to see Black Mask and Blockbuster as the villains of the Nightwing solo film.

I wonder if they will let Dick show up in some form in GCS and Batman, before his own film, then support in Batgirl.

And Batgirl could be a support character in GCS, cameo in Batman, female lead in Nightwing, then her own film.

Then have Flash (TV show should be over by then) and Cyborg, then do a Titans film. Or have the Flash/Cyborg movies AFTER Titans.

I agree. Maybe have Nightwing show up in a brief action scene, ala the Arkham games. Have some dialogue alluding to the past, and then expand upon it in the next movie.
