[blackout]Walter/Rorschach died?[/blackout]

I know I got teary eyed. My dad thought it was sad when it happened as well. The music and the delievery of the lines by[blackout]Jackie Earle Haley[/blackout] were phenomenal. Truely IMO, the saddest moment in the film.

I didn't get that far, but it was definitely very emotional and it was done very well. Good acting.

I thought it was quite emotional as well, and JEH seemed like he was almost in tears unlike in the comics, where Walter seemed more in rage. It was definitely a sad scene for me.

I did. :waa: Most powerful moment in the film for me.

I have a such a soft spot for characters who are "bad" but not truly bad, just messed up because of a crappy life. I just want to give them all hugs.

<(o o)>

I guess no one felt for the lynx the way I did , poor creature.

I felt sorry for Veidt, Now whose going to speculate on him possibly being homosexual?

My brother got sad, didn't cry though. Until Night Owl charged after Veidt and started beating on him while he was crying. Then he got teary eyed lol.

I blame you for going into this scene expecting my heart to be tugged. :o

Anyway, it was definitely great acting and an emotional part of the movie. But it takes a lot more for me to tear up. Especially over something so bad-ass as being disintegrated by a god over matter. Yeah! :hehe:

I didn't cry, but I was moved somewhat. "DO IT!" gave me chills, though.

Bubastis dying was a little sad too. :(

I did not get teary eyed, but it was a very emotional scene. Wonderful acting by JEH.

Definitely one of the most sad moments I've seen in film... I have yet to cry in a movie, but between the music and Jackie Earle Haley's acting, I came close.

Great moment.

It was neat noticing that Zack wanted to reinforce Rorschach and Nite Owl's friendship by having Nite Owl witness Rorschach's explosive demise.

I also found myself feeling bad for Dr. Manhattan who was so helplessly detached from humans and their perspective.

Personally, I thought the film version was better than the comic version.

I actually was disgusted at the fact they transferred Nite Owl II's rage from the reaction of Hollis Mason's death in the GN to the death of Rorschach in the movie.

Same here. It wasn't enough to make me cry, but it definitely tugged at the ol' heart strings.
