simple ****ing question!........

if not then what was so bad about it?
 :o

I don't think many saw it based on the fact, that the people who did, went blind due to the amazing spectacular crapitude of that film :(

Good : Jessica Biel in a bathing suit

Bad : The rest of the movie, including a lame, cliche-ridden predictable script, a premise ripped off from many other movies, like Ghost in the Shell, etc., an overdependence on bad CGI like I was watching Top Gun for the NES, terrible acting, a misuse of better actors like Sam Shepherd, and some bad guys that should have had twirling moustaches.

In short, the movie was big, loud, dumb, boring, and completely brainless. It was one of the biggest POSs I have ever seen.

Didn't see it. Don't plan to.

some people just dont know how to sit back and ****ing enjoy something....

Simply because someone doesn't agree with you, they don't know how to enjoy something?

Is that like calling a movie boring because you're too ADD to sit down and watch it all the way through?

i hate scorcesse for the three movies i mentioned..... but you dont see me bashing the ones i havent seen.........ITS ****ING STUPID!

Where's the No option?

In answer to the question asked: No.

And neither did I enjoy the Island.

Two weak flicks.

You called his movies boring since they were so long. Or felt long, or whatever other nonsense you're spewing out.

WRONG! I saw the movie, smart guy. And I hated it. It was crap.

And show me where someone said Boll rules.

i hate scorcesse for the three movies i mentioned..... but you dont see me bashing the ones i havent seen.........ITS ****ING STUPID!

And again, hating a very highly regarded/respected filmmaker for only three movies when you refuse to see his other, better movies is, as you put it "****IN STUPID!"

Now you can speak for an entire audience? Wow!

What formula is this? Lack of explosions and gunfights every 5 seconds to hold your attention? Color of Money, The Aviator, Gangs, and Casino are all totally different movies.

I TOLD YOU ALREADY....i love drama too... just because i like stealth's action doesnt mean i only watch jean claude van dam movies 24/7.....

you have just gotten to the point where your just being an angry *******....

if someone hated QT for killbill(and im pretty sure you do to) i would just let them say why and leave it as there opinion...

not say "OH you have ADD and cant sit through drama movies worth a ****.... you have no respect towards great filmaking..so keep watching your **** movies"

im done arguing with you..... were just going in circles.....

it was fun though(not as good as arguing about Cassherm though):D

No, I liked the KB movies, the second one was even better. Where do that even come from? I like QT as well, he's a passionate filmmaker with a few good movies. He needs to make more, and be a lot more original, but he still makes pretty fine films.

You're just a bit on the close-minded side. You act like you love movies, but you're denying yourself some of the best movies ever just so that you can egotistically stick by your opinion.

If you like QT, you'd like older Scorsese.

ok..... answer me this...... and think before you answer....

do you SERIOUSLY think if i go rent w/e other movies he has made....that i will somehow like it?.......even though the 4 recent(?) movies hes made were bad(imo)?........
from watching casino.... i could see what you mean by theres some QTness to it.... but the thing is that all the dialog in pulp and so on,was so fresh and great to listen to.... then afterwards the story would move on.... MS just got hung up on drama scenes that went in circles.(but thats just me)

I saw it on HBO or Showtime or one of those channels. It sucked ass and both my wife and I were laughing our asses off at some of the concepts and dialogue. When the computer-piloted plane started talking, that movie got funny as hell for all the wrong reasons.

jag

I rented it and thought it was an ok movie. It had some decent special effects, but the best thing about it was the DTS surround sound. It really had my home theater system pumping.

No, you SERIOUSLY answer me this: you let movies impact how you feel about OTHER movies?? I didn't like this movie so I won't like that one, even though they're totally different movies? Doesn't that sound ridiculous and close-minded.

You are saying that if you do not like a director because of some of his work, you WILL NEVER like anything by him? That sounds very childish, or egocentric, like you don't want to admit that you were wrong when your opinion changes. It also denies you the chance to see so many great movies out there.

Goodfellas has that great dialogue like Pulp Fiction as well. Not to mention its a better made, more enjoyable film.

Really, the only person you're doing a disservice to is yourself. You're the one denying yourself great movies just because you don't want to risk your opinion changing and thus you coming off wrong.

seen the movie..tis crap

uhhh no!......but there ARE occasions... like uwe boll.....(and i even gave him a chance! )..i saw hotd and i gave him a chance because maybe it wasnt his fault......................and it was:o

when did i not admit that i was wrong when my opinion changes?

i admit that the departed looks like hes making a good one..... but that doesnt change the fact that i still hate the other movies i saw.

well i havent seen goodfellas so i cant say anything...(is that the movie tbs showed last night or w/e?..where they censored that home alone thief guy(whats his name?lol))...but pulp fiction has (from what i can think of right now) the best idalog in any movie....

Tarantino takes the easy way out by having a very specific TYPE of dialogue. It only works for his films, and no one trying to make a serious exploration of themes should attempt to use it. Because it won't work.

ummm pulp fiction had ALOT of serious exploration themes.....

and what do you mean by "Easy way out"?????????

i know where you are going with this...but it's not just about sitting back and enjoying a movie all the time...it's also the movie's intentions.

Stealth was meant to be taken seriously and, from what i've heard, it was laughable and horrible when that's attempted. and not taking it seriously just means you are watching a movie that is crap and you are laughing at at, not with it...like SNAKES ON A MUTHA F#CKIN PLANE!

SoaP is your Army of Darkness kind of fun...it's so purposefully cheesy that it's awesome.

Really? Could you name any? Do you really think any movie about a leather-clad gimp, a group of homosexual hillbilly rapists, conversations about foot massages and going down on women, killing people with samurai swords, discussions about Royale With Cheeses, and people who hide watches up their ass is a serious movie?

I think you missed the point of the movie. The FIRST THING you see on screen, the definition of the phrase "pulp fiction", clues you in on just how serious the film is.

I saw Stealth and it sucked, I dont ever plan on seeing it agian.
