...or did you just memorize it for tests and quizzes and exams?

Can you call upon at least 85% of the things you were taught from Pre-K to the end of high school/college/graduate school?

memorize it.

i barely understand what i am being told right now.

I can recall the majority of it. Depends on the subject in some cases (forgot many math formulas), but for history/literature, I can recall most of it. Perhaps not 85% of it, but still well over 50% of it.

I learned a great deal, but I only made an effort to retain what I needed, and also what I enjoyed.

I barely memorized it. The only stuff I can remember is the useless trivia, like...well, I cant think of one of the top of my head.

I don't think anyone can remember 85% of the stuff they learned in school. You tend to remember the stuff that intrested you or is relevant to you today.

With about a week's prep, i could probably recall everything about from some a level maths and physics.

but that's purely due to the lack of using this knowledge.

if you asked me to recall the stuff i did in my masters, i'd give you **** all for about 75%

As far a school is concerned I learned very little that I actually use. As far as college (both times) is concerned I learned some things, but very little that I actually use. Most of my knowledge is either useless or worthless (Comic Book history, Statistical Information, Brainwashing Techniques...). Everything that I learned that is actually valuable I learned "on the job" (Work stuff, How to feed a baby, how to clean up baby puke...)

I learned and remembered everything that is actually relevant to day to day existence. I retain a basic knowledge of history, but as far as past participles go? Nah.

A lot of things have stuck with me for years,. But most of the time I just learned enough to get a passing grade so I could be done with it.

I still know Health Science, Economics and Algebra pretty good.

All of the philosophy classes I've taken were things I already knew, but they fleshed them out in greater detail. I've forgotten math, science, and spanish right after they're over.

*cries* I've got a mock science test coming up, I'll move down to Group 2 (lower abilites) group if i fail...I ENJOY GROUP 1...NOEZZZ, revise, revise, esiver

I was taught nothing at high school. Had to take another 2 years of basic classes just to get a decent education, and I still know i'm lacking.

i remember about 20% of my total schooling...i remember nothing from all my years of chemistry and pyhsics...i remember random stuff from my maths, and a fair bit from history...

but a big masive bunch got lost when we'd finished that section and moved on tothe next...

I memorize very little of my work, than I go into my exams after looking through my notes for a good five minutes.

I took bobo classes in high school... or avergage classes at best if that offends anyone. I couldn't remember a damn thing by the time I went to college... almost dropped out because my grades were so bad and I was learning everything for the first time almost... I mean I had a Calculus class in high school but that was about it. Hopefully I will remember some stuff well after my college education. That's why college is so important.

I remember almost everything I've learned in school.

However, the problem is that I didn't learn as much as I could have, because nobody taught me how to study and learn at that time.
