Did you spot anything that would indicate JLA?

all I saw was the wayne enterprises logo on the satellite.

I guess a booster gold Easter egg was present when Zod was climbing up the side of the building and Superman was flying down towards him in the battle in Metropolis.

Only easter eggs I saw about a larger universe was the Waynetech logo and of course the Lexcorp logos on various bulidings and trucks

There is no way they are coming out with a Justice League movie by 2015. Impossible unless they want to make a horrendous movie.

This movie should have had more easter eggs or at least a post-credits scene.

^ Probably not, but they could very well have MOS2 ready for 2015 and a Justice League film lined up behind that.

No way a justice league films come next its either MOS 2 or a worlds finest leading into the team up

What about The Flash? Wonder Woman? And did they release any news yet to see if Ryan Reynolds is going to continue being the Green Lantern?

So much things left to do in order to make a successful JL movie.

I dont see how they can come up with a Justice league movie this movie did nothing to set up any other characters or a bigger dc universe. If marvel did anything right it was setting up their characters for future films.

I was really hoping for an end credit scene or something but we got nothing very dissapointing.

I dont look for a JL film before 2017.
I think we'll get
MoS 2
then prolly a WF ( unless we get a reboot of batman first )

The only thing Iron Man had in the way of an Avengers setup was the after-credits scene...nothing in the actual plot of the film pointed toward Fury or Cap or Thor or Hulk. At least MOS featured a nod to Wayne Industries and Lexcorp.

I think it was a good move to focus solely on Superman in this film and not get bogged down by trying to introduce other characters. That can come with MOS2, and then perhaps we get a standalone film or 2 (or 3) from the other JL members before we get a JL film. Perhaps not; maybe that film is to be used to introduce us to those characters. Either way, I'm looking forward to a future JL film and I wasn't at all bothered by the lack of hinting at one in this movie.

Warner Bros. will never learn :whatever:.

So Cap's shield when IM was taking off his suit meant nothing? And also The Incredible Hulk fixed most of those loose ends you just mentioned (Nick Fury, Hulk, other superheros,etc..). That simple nod doesn't compare with the easter eggs Marvel has offered.

MOS was still a great film though.

It meant about as much as the Wayne Industries logo on the satellite in MOS. And I agree, Incredible Hulk did a good job of tying all that stuff together. But it wasn't the first film in the series; MOS was. Maybe even before a MOS2 they will come out with a Flash or WW film or something and have Superman (and another JL member or 2) make an appearance. There's lots of ways they can go here. I'm just glad that the writer has acknowledged that he and the director have discussed the post-MOS Justice League possibilities. It's good to know that other superheroes do exist in this Superman's universe, as opposed to always knowing that Batman had no contemporaries in the TDK universe.

You gotta wonder though, Zod destroying the Wayne Enterprises Satellite surely must've gotten Bruce Wayne's attention.

Captain Carrie Farris apparently.

Nothing....it was good to see that the govt was trying to track him....

But what I did want to see was maybe "Checkmate" or ""Cadmus" being formed in the shadows.....a credit ending scene would have made sense. They did a lot of damage.....it was 911 on steroids and mankind isn't trying to weaponize against Superman or something else like him???

Emil Hamilton meeting with Waller.......

If the destruction of half of Metropolis didn't!! LOL:woot:

If Lester had directed this, after Superman and Zod leave the satellite a tiny door on it would have opened and Batman would poke his head out like "huh?"

And that's all it needed! That set the stage for everything Marvel has done! As I just posted.....nothing should be normal on earth again. Even with Zod gone, Faora is still alive in the Phantom Zone and what if Superman does go nuts? The humans don't know that! I would love to have Cadmus being formed in a credit ending scene!!

It could have been so simple...after the main credits...you show a cafe...the waiter walks up to a man reading a newspaper and says "alien attacks...men flying around...man, this just changes everything, right?" The man lowers the paper, it is Christian Bale, and he says "yes, it does." The crowd would lose their damn minds.

Or Bale could have said "A guy who wears a red cape and blue tights clearly has issues!".

Very simple to think up, yes, but getting Bale to do it?
