Die Hard 4.0 Script Review!

cool find, just saw this over at AICN
shooting in September for a summer 2007 release ?

i only read some of the review, but the involvement of mcclane's son sounds kinda dumb....everything else looks promising though.

Seems ok but it just reminds me of 24 :( And "Jack" Seems like a dumb idea as well.I liked 1 and 2 (3 was ok) they better not **** up4!!

I can't wait for this movie

JOHN MCCLANE RETURNS!!!

Doesn't sound like Die Hard to me. :(

Neither did "With a Vengeance" just from its description... :)

I like the near apocalyptic sound of this and the inclusion of the son makes sense within the story from they way it reads
the fact Mclane will have both sides after him should make for an interesting film IMO

Hmmmmmmmm not sure.

They seem to be following the path the other films have laid .... making the bad guys plans bigger with each movie.

I would love to see Mcclane trapped in an enclosed space again like the original ... cast some quality bad guys then just let rip!

Hmmm. Sounds really good. Much better than the other drafts it seems. But no McTiernen:(

I agree although im not bothered about McTiernanan as it's been ages since he made a good movie IMO

they got the underworld director for this right? I wonder what he'll do with a big budget now.

Underworld wasn't that good. I really love the Die Hard franchise.
Die Hard is number 3 on my top 10. With A Vengeance is numba 5.

But internet terrorists, and the director of Underworld, with Scott Speedman, and Willis' age?

Come on. If you're going to make another Die Hard, the script and director have to be stellar to distract from Willis' age.

When they announced Wiseman as the new director, they mentioned that McClane has been retired for a few years in this script, and he's pulled in on the matter in the hopes he can get his son involved. So it seems they'll be addressing his age openly.

That's not what I meant. I'm aware of that.
What I mean is that the action should probably be toned down a little, which means that the actual story and dialogue better be that much better to make up for it.
And with the director of Underworld at the helm, I'm frightened.

i like it. sounds kinda fetchy, robbing the governments n stock makret? hows?
