Hi guys,

Just wanted to see how many people here like the game and would be willing to support the continuation of the series. A petition is already up and running and it would be wonderful if everyone here could sign it and support the game. Despite the third game in the series which was horrible, Dino Crisis is still one of the best action adventure game by Capcom.

Sign Petition here: http://www.petitiononline.com/DC4Seque/petition.html

The first two Dino Crisis games were fantastic.

Petitions are stupid though. :down

What's so stupid about them? Petitions really worked for me before. Anyways, you're completely correct, first two were the best. The third one wasn't by the same guy who made the first 2 so that's understandable, but to have it exclusive to Xbox was a shameful move on Capcom's part.

The first two were fantastic. There should be another one. It needs it after the third one took a dump on the series.

I played the first and liked it, haven't played the others. I'm in support of more dinosaur themed games. Though I'd prefer an action 3d person orientated, rather than FPS in all honesty. Also I wouldn't mind one where you had less weapons and were merely surviving rather than blowing up raptor's with bazooka's.

However I'm going to toss my hat in with the petitions not being the right route. Petitions may show a game has a following, but so does sending mass emails to Capcom. You really can't force a game company, or any company to make something you want just because you have a lot of signatures. There has to be a desire by the company, or enough fans showing they want it for a company to care enough to make a game.

I doubt they'd put down several million to make a game unless they saw a market for it. Not trying to be down on your idea, glad you like the series enough to show support.

Yeah, the first two were awesome. Was the second one's [blackout] boss some massive t-rex? It was huge, almost like Godzilla [/blackout]

I really didn't mind you being honest. But if something is supposed to happen, it will happen one way or the other. It's a good idea to write e-mails to Capcom, though I have already done that but won't stop now. I would encourage Dino Crisis fans or those who like the game to do so as well.

You should really play the second Dino Crisis than. It is basically 3rd-person shooter, loads of action. They removed the horror element from the sequel for some reason, probably because the first one didn't have much action, but it worked well. Dino 2 was great, can't say the same for 3rd though.

It wasn't a T-rex, it was some other dino: Gigantasaurus or something. It was really big, and the way you kill it is pretty awesome as well.

it was actually a Giganotosaurus, not a Gigantasaurus.

No problem I almost went back and put a note stating I wasn't calling you out on the error but I figured It didn't matter since the difference is so minute

I vaguely remember the first game. But it was pretty good from what I remember. Nevertheless, Dinosaurs are cool so I'd pick up a DC4 just to see the dinos on a ps3. This was one of the reasons why I picked up Turok, which wasn't too bad except some levels were ridiculously hard with really crappy check points.

I figured that :cwink:. By the way, what's the point in getting worked up if someone corrected you with an actual fact. I do get confused with the spellings of dino-names.

First one was great. I was surprised to see Dino Crisis 2 took another approach but nevertheless, it was a great game in its own right. By the way, you picked up Turok for PS-3, how's it? I mean gameplay-wise? Are there any pop-in-textures or anything? I heard that PS-3 version was a bit glitchy or watered down version when compared to 360.

The think the graphics are great for turok on the ps3. I have no complaints about the graphics. I haven't seen the 360 version though, so I wouldn't be able to make a good comparison on that. I actually like the game for what I paid for it. But there are some frustrating missions. It wouldn't be so bad if the checkpoints weren't so far off. But if you die and then have to repeat 10 minutes of gameplay only to die again and do it all over, it gets old quick.

I got through most of the frustrating missions after a few tries. But then I got stuck one mission and when GTA4 came out, I stopped playing turok and haven't gone back to finish it yet.

If you can get it for under $25 or under, I'd recommend it if you like dinos etc. But if you get frustrated easily, I don't know if you should really mess with it. It would have been a great game if the checkpoints wouldn't have been so spread out.
