Five quirky teenagers, Rodger, Caruso, Max, Fiona and Buzz, suddenly gain the power to turn into dinosaurs. With the help of their mysterious science teacher, Ms. Moynihan, they learn to use their unique abilities to protect the planet from Victor Veloci. Victor is widely known as the CEO of the medical research company Raptor Dyne, but is actually a 165 million-year-old anthropomorphic velociraptor. His secret identity is unknown to everyone except himself and the audience. His true plan is to turn everyone into dinosaurs and increase the climate to that of the Mesozoic era with the goal of returning the world to how it was when dinosaurs ruled.

The new gold standard for American animation...has arrived. ​

That actually sounds interesting and retro to be honest. Original as well, if it hasn't been done before- which now is especially hard to come by it seems.

Reminds me of the tone of some of the shows in the 80s and 90s rather than the new millenia. Many of the remembered shows from back then were "out there, out there." Seriously, you break the shows down and you'd think most people making cartoons were high on drugs. So a crack-pot idea is just about what we need right now to hopefully get us back to the good old days.

If it has you shaking your head and asking yourself, "what the hell?" it has a shot at being a better than average cartoon.

And DIC is the production company man, lol, no wonder it seems retro:

Has ALOT more potential than over half of the new cartoons on the market today, imo.

If done right this could be great and harken back to the cartoons of yesteryear. If done wrong this show could be a disaster.
