This is a wake up call to other purple states like mine. If Republicans gain all levers of power next year, NC will go the way of TX. You have the GOP governor front runner pushing an anti abortion agenda, a compliant GOP legislative majority that will gleefully shorten the 12 week window to 6 weeks or less, and the GOP AG candidate looking to follow Paxton’s example.

And update, important even if the issue is moot, is that the Texas Supreme Court ruled against the abortion. They cover it by saying they aren't doctors, and need the state medical board to issue more guidance.

And guess who is going to be threatening the state medical board.
