Quick question for all the believers in Global Warming.

Do you think it will fully happen in our lifetime and if not, what's "your" estimate of when you think we will hit that ice age again?

This isn't to start **** just curious.
:hehe: :hehe:

What do you define as "fully happnening"? If you mean all the ice caps melting... probably not but in two full human lifetimes? Unless we do something drastic to at least curb humanity's part in it - YUP.

There's a tornado warning in Mount Pleasant, MI, about 3 hours from here.

weeee! tornado alert until 2 am

In Europe there are also odd changes, the Winter Thaw is starting a few weeks early. Does anyone not see how this is? Global Warming..

This is Chicagoland, and this time of the season it's usually below freezing. Sure, everyone is enjoying it, busting out their bikes, skateboards and buttcrack jeans, but we all know what's going on here.

LOL, it's not the heaven's gate cult, man.
I don't think anyone that has seen the evidence has their own date, I think most people are basing their stance on the issue upon the scientific evidence available.
all I wan personally is for people to take the small steps they have to in order to address our role in climate change, as well as our role in affecting the environment in other ways, not just climate wise.
do I think it's urgent? yeah, very much so.

It was around 60 today where I live (windsor, right across the river from detroit)

It was like 35 In central Wisconsin. Normal day. It's hit the 50's and 60's before this time of year. Nothing out of the ordinary, my dad used to tell me all the time when he was my age, there were a few years in a row where he would ride his motorcycle in December and January. Now if it stays these temps for a week, then we may have a problem.

Oprah's hot air is warming the climate in Chicago.

I don't know what temperature it was last week. All I know is it was raining nonstop the whole damn time. It was teasing me, too. The clouds would temporarily part on my way to work, only for the sky to close up and rain sideways during my lunch. I didn't even leave the house all weekend. It was insane.
