They are god damn ****ing morons if they do that. That writer needs to be ***** slapped.

China has a higher ratio of males to females thanks to this idiotic policy. And most importantly, every post-industrial modern society like America, most of Europe, Russia Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore has seen a real population decline (eliminate immigrants to the equation). The only places with a high net growth is in 3rd world countries or immigrants from thereof which is too hard to enforce unless you outright kill them. All this amounts to is a even higher concentration of wealth to a bunch of elites.

It scares me to think someone would consider this insane stupidity, because if they have, they will want to start wars to cull the population.

I don't believe there's poo-diddly that humans can do that puts out anywhere near as much CO2 emissions as nature. Opportunistic scientists and politicians have been trying to scare us into believing the global warming hoax for years now, because it is a perfect way to scare people into obeying virtually every item on their agendas. People on the left use the phrase "climate change" the same way people on the right use the word "terrorism." It's meant to make you feel like you are helpless and endangered unless you support them.

Now that scientists and politicians realize that fewer and fewer people are buying into their hogwash, they are getting extra desperate. Global Warming was meant to be their bid to seize power, and now that the hype is dying they are making a bunch of last ditch efforts to keep people's attention, saying nonsense like "It's only getting colder because the world is getting HOTTER!" or "the nature of global warming means it will be getting cold for the next decade, and after that the world will be a living hell!" The goal is to incite panic and bring a bunch of shallow tools to their cause, but fortunately it looks like people aren't as dumb as they initially seemed. It usually takes them a while to realize they've had the wool pulled over their eyes, but eventually they get it.

Well with population control, we will naturally and inevitably wipe ourselves out. This is nothing new.

With gov't control, it is legally enforced new fangled ways to fail over a prolonged period of time. Resulting in more prolonged bad economics, famine and wars.

The first is a heart attack. The latter is like bleeding to death after some crazed lunatic slices you up 1000 ways and dumps 500 pounds of salt on you.

You can deny it all you want, but the facts remain - in 2002, it was compiled that humans produce approximately 130x the amount of CO2 that volcanoes produce. Volcanoes normally produce about 130-230 million tonnes of CO2 every year. Volcanoes are also one of the main contributers of carbon in nature next to forest fires and decomposing matter.

What about plankton though? Or cow farts? Or any other number of things that cause CO2 that are part of life's natural cycle? Volcanoes are hardly the #1 cause of CO2 emissions in nature. Human beings only produce about 1/20th the amount of CO2 emissions as what is produced naturally, so even if human beings stopped emitting CO2 gas altogether we wouldn't be able to have actual control over the climate unless we start limiting nature's CO2 emissions as well. I'd love to see how the government enforces cap and trade on plankton.

Overall, global warming enthusiasts seem to fall into one of two groups: those who know that it's a hoax but think it's a great way to scare people into following their agenda, and those who are naive enough to believe that human beings have the power to control the weather.

It's still considered a greenhouse gas, which is why the agricultural industry is considered a big contributor to global warming by the warmers, and is almost always listed in their reports. Animal flatulence is considered a greenhouse gas, and nature produces 20x more "greenhouse gas" than humans. If you don't think nature's production of burps and farts should count towards global warming, than neither should the agricultural industry's.

Another thing to remember: methane has carbon in it. The only difference between methane and carbon dioxide is that methane has 4 hydrogen atoms whereas CO2 has 2 oxygen atoms. Also, methane is classified as a greenhouse gas. The warmers don't want just CO2 emissions to go down, they want ALL greenhouse gas emissions to go down (well, the ones who actually believe in global warming do, at least. The rest just want to raise taxes and have population caps).

"Greenhouse gas" =/= CO2

That's really the only point I was trying to make. As it should be clear already, it doesn't bother me either way.
