That was incredible. This is apparently the greatest public outcry they have ever seen in congress. Most phone calls ever, and of course, the most e-mails in US history. Even several co-sponsors of the bills have denounced them.

You don't mess with the internet.

Now if we could just get the people as worked up about politics in general.

Too bad Google didn't start calling out Congress on NDAA

Lol, found this in the pics. He needs a bigger gun, but the tank busters are coming hopefully.

Everyone needs to see this video. Send it to your senators and representatives.

I am contemplating boycotting Rises and Avengers. Avengers might be easier cause I don't like Joss Whedon's dialogue, but Rises will be tough. But then I've manage to avoid Spidey 3 and Revenge of the Sith all these years a well. Try to get more people to not watch Batman and troll the reviews with low scores. Encourage bad buzz for TDK Rises, to give Time Warner a big middle finger (being big lobbyists in this).

Unless Nolan voices displeasure with SOPA/PIPA, operation Bad Buzz for TDKR might be a go :up:

I don't think those are the movies to boycott as they're so big WB/Time Warner would never notice. And trolling? The best thing to do is to keep the politicians scared to pass these bills due to public backlash. I don't think the WH would sign it anyway, but if implodes in Congress, so much the better.

I really don't think a youtube video will change their minds.

I don't see anything happening before November, but after that anything goes. We could see this monstrosity revived.

I kind of wish Anonymous would get on the US government's back, just to prove a point. :funny:

MegaUpload has been shut down and the workers indicated. **** just got a little real.
