Considering what the those crazies stand for, I think "F*** God" is entirely appropriate. I has to really piss them off. And yeah, the Bender one was great as was "All Glory to the Hypno-Toad".

"F*** God" and signs like it only give these crazies a false sense of justification. They don't stand for religion or the religious people, they stand for hate and ignorance.

Yeah, but one of the most fun things to do is to make ignorant, self-righteous people look at how stupid they really are, which many of these signs do. It's the religion bashing that lends them some validation to their claims, which is the last thing we want to do.

LOLing my head off at the first picture in the link..... the dude dressed as Bender in the centre and the guy on the far right at the back who's holding his Sunglasses in a 'WTF????' expression are the funniest bits of that pic for me.

as for the .... fools. i know i'll have a reply of 'Freedom of Speech', but why are they allowed to protest anymore? isn't it a certainty that there will be problems with it?

Not to advocate on behalf of religion, but the WBC really has nothing to do with religion or Christianity, and it's not just because they are hateful. If you look like Fred Phelps history and the activities of the church you'll find out the whole WBC thing is just a front. They've come through my town multiple times. Basically they taunt people into violence, and then, since they're all lawyers or in law school, they sue anyone who decides to attack them. It's a basic scam.

1) Visciously mock and annoy people.
2) Wait until someone decides to retaliate.
3) Sue the pants off of said person.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I've heard this too. That's why I don't hold WBC against Christians, nor expect them to apologize for these guys' whacko behavior.

Not exactly the same thing, but a bunch of christians were arrested for protesting on private property at a metal show this week. Man... those pics are awesome. Obviously I don't like the anti-Bible/God ones because of my own faith and the fact that Phelps doesn't represent my faith in the slightest, but I can appreciate the idea behind them.


But the dumb ones that are designed to mock Phelps's protest are great. Bender, Magnets, Is this thing on?, and others got a good chuckle out of me.

Send the WBC to DragonCon here in Atlanta this Sept. We've got Klingons aplenty to mock them.

Actually, the wackos do come to Atlanta regularly to picket Gay Pride, so I'll bet they might actually consider protesting the awesome freak-fest that is DragonCon.
