Discussions on the Exclusive Footage shown at Consumer Electronics Show [Merged]

Thanks to everyone saying how good my big long above post is, but there's no need for it. It's really just how I see the film, and what i think it is about. I think we can agree on most of what I said.

As for the discussion on the footage, I'm REALLY REALLY looking forward to this sequence now...every report from the CES about it has been fantastic and it seems like The New Goblin is going to be even better than his father! (I said "seems"...)

All the positive sayings about the footage is DEFINATELY a good sign, and if this first battle in the film, Peter Parker v. The New Goblin, is that good...just imagine how good the final battle/Battle Royale in the film is going to be! t:

It can only get better as the film approaches...

I dont recall Harry using the sword in the aireal fight... however I DO remember seeing him use it in the battle that happens later on in the Osborn mantion.

Well one thing is for sure!!! He looks a hell of a lot cooler aka. badass, not to mention more stylish!... I loved Willem Dafoe as the goblin, but the suit was pure crap! It looked so tacky (and that's sad seeing how the movie is NOT!) I've always thought that the suit reminded me of some lame evil freaken Power Ranger!

It's pointless to compare supernatural characters to sci-fi characters. When supernatural entities are invovled all the rules of strength, speed, and all that go out the window. It's like comparing the Incredible Hulk to God or something.
