TV Disney+

General Television
No studio stands a chance, that's why it's honestly silly to compare them
-Disney owns all their content for their streaming service outright. I think a lot of their ABC shows too
-Disney's brand is so strong they can have their own stores and theme parks.
-They have decades of strong branding so much so that the idea of a "Disney" film is a thing. No other current studio has that.
-Disney owns 3 of the highest grossing film franchises.

It's not even really fair to compare. It's like comparing a Olympic runner to a D3 sprinter. I think WB has a lot of tools (DC, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera, HBO, etc.) to at least try to compete with Disney but they really lack the strategy.

Yeah so I'm convinced someone at WB heard about their move with Raya and then they started stumbling over their own feet with the stupid way they rolled out their announcement.

Hell yeah a Big Hero 6 follow up series with Betamax returning. Just saw the movie like a year ago and loved it.

And Zootopia+, short form animated comedy series about minor characters from the movie. Spring 2022.

You know it's funny. When I first joined this site it was all "Gimme original ideas. Hollywood is outta ideas" and now everyone is basically saying "Gimme the same thing over and over and over. Sequels, spinoffs, all that"

EDIT: Since people are somehow getting the wrong idea. I personally don't care what a film is as long as it's good. I'm just making an observation that times have changed in what people claim they're clamoring for

Way WAY too much!

It doesn’t even matter if it’s good anymore, it’ll be gone before the next 12 things are out.

The Mighty Ducks series intrigues me in that I hope for appearances from some of the cast of the movie, namely Joshua Jackson, Marguaritte Moreau and Elden Hanson.
