TV Disney+

General Television
Working at a video store, we always had to do PG & PG-13 movies only. However, I think I remember regardless of the R Rating that in Pretty Woman that there was a split second boob shot if I recall.

I am finally watching the Star Wars Holiday Special. I love this. Absolutely, 100% love this. I'd be cool if it was canon. Whomever is doing the Rey voice is perfect. They actually integrated the duel through the saga that they cut from TROS. :mrk:

Seriously, it has everything I ever wanted. Luke and Rey fighting together, Luke actually teaching Rey something, Yoda interacting with Rey, every Kylo joke I have come up with, Kylo meeting Vader, Rey, Anakin and Luke (three different generations of Skywalkers) teaming up, and just everything. The use of music, including some new takes on some of the themes, just perfect. Even the lesson is heartfelt and adorable. I love it so much. :atp:

yeah the music on that special was on point very well done and I agree on the voices too and the humor was so good I really needed a good laugh when I saw it was not disappointed

The first two episodes of Marvel 616 have been beautiful... excited for the rest.

What about Disney’s new launch titled called Disney Minus?

This is a Lego thing right? Sounds awesome. Will check it out, thanks.

What are these?

They’re little short Doc’s about specific things relating to culture or society and the impact Marvel (well comics based, so far) has had or is having with a movement or such.

Oh right, sounds interesting. Thanks

First episode was Japanese Spider-Man, second was women in (Marvel) comics, and the third was Spanish artists drawing for Marvel.

I love these kinds of things so im glad they are doing them. The first 3 episodes were great. The rest of them....no thanks, ill be skipping.

I mean in the grand scheme of things, for me it doesn't matter if the content is the same.
Will Hulu Be Folded Into Disney+ Because There's Strength in Numbers?

It makes sense. Why have 2 streaming services instead of one. But it does feel a bit of weird move. Just because it'll be funny to see like the Handmaiden's Tale on Disney+. Also I wonder how they'll do Hulu Live.

But we'll see and again it makes sense to me

Same. Maybe in some post-apocalyptic future, there will be only one single streaming service where I can pull up anything from anywhere! That's not thepiratebay!

I doubt that will happen. For one Disney likes having their more adult content on a seperate server, and 2nd...I doubt the other share holders would be cool with their shows showing up on Disney+ and would probably pull out which ends a MASSIVE selling point for Hulu. And then they have to rebrand Hulu Live to Disney Live? and make brand new deals?

I heard it mentioned a week or two ago by Robert Meyer Burnett on John Campea's podcast that Disney+ is planning a password protected section for non-family friendly content such as the Alien and Predator movies.

Will believe it when I see it.

I am fairly certain they are happy still being able to see the 3-1 plan, with Disney, Hulu, and ESPN.

Also, I just saw that Discovery Channel and Paramount are copying the "plus" name for their streaming sites, and now I am just angry.

Hulu is not a much known brand outside USA

Which is why they want to use the Disney brand name internationally.

I would approve. I don't really want to have to subscribe to a separate streaming service just to get the rest of Disney's content.

They just announced Disney + “Star”

...that female lead SW show better be Doctor Aphra.
That would be great. So many possibilities now for characters to get greenlit that wouldn’t have had a chance without streaming taking off like this.
