I think focus on the disney villains and give them orgin stories could be a nice idea, but that is already becoming repetitive and more cash cow then the real animation remakes for me already...

I’m kind of interested in the idea, I think the old fashioned way of having the sisters be fat and ugly and therefore mean versus Cinderella who is nice because she’s pretty maybe doesn’t track so well these days so adding a bit more depth to it would probably enrich the story a lot

a Disney plus series like that Gaston-series would‘ve been better...but what stories they need to tell about two absolute uninteresting characters with no charisma.
Ursula would be interesting, or Gaston (who will get his oen series)
Maleficent could‘ve been good, if she really had turned evil in the end.

These two characters don't even seem interesting enough to warrant this. Something like Cruella makes sense because there's a lot to her but these two were just spoiled a-holes.

Basically every evil Disney woman turned out that way because of something in their past. Kinda insulting to keep using that trope but meh.

kinda boring if villains are only evil because they had a hard past.
where are the villains that just want to watch the world burn...
