it just came out on DVD today...thinking about renting it.

It lost all its steam near the middle but any fans of parkour or this kind of stuntwork will be impressed. Very solid action flick. I would love to see another movie featuring David Belle.

I was planning to pick it up after work (luckily, I work in the DVD section of an electronics store), but we only received 2 copies. The first one was snatched up by a customer, and the second was damaged.

I picked up the DVD this past Tuesday. Watched it with the french soundtrack and english subtitles. It was...it kept my interest. Alright, maybe even good. The movie looked great and it's nice to see no quick-cutting at all in the fight scenes. I ruined the experenice for myself by watching most of the action/fight scenes online, so that's why it is only alright or good imo. I wasn't shocked by what I saw, because I've seen it in the clips or trailer. Also, the region 2 UK DVD has a few more dvd extras, not fare!

Ugly dvd art for the Uk dvd. The movie came out this past June (in the states) in limited theater release and of course bombed. DOA. This movie would have done good in about 800-1200 theaters opening weekend. Pity it got dumped in only 151 theaters. Oh well, maybe it become a surprise hit on dvd?
